  “Great coffee and pastries. Girls were super friendly and welcoming. Just 1 heads up, they charge for a splash of oat in your drip coffee. I get the change in a latte or flat white, but a splash in filtered is really Nicole and doming. To be fair, some other places do that too. Overall great coffee experience!”

  “One of the best speciality coffees in London , I would say top 3 . The snacks are great. The staff are real baristas, they serve you the exact coffee you are looking for. A must try.”

  “Finally made it to Kuro Coffee! Every time I passed by before, it was crowded, so going early in the morning is definitely the way to go. The interior has a really nice vibe, and the food/drinks didn't disappoint. The mocha was delicious and beautifully crafted with lovely latte art. Paired with a super crispy Ham & Cheese Croissant, it was the perfect breakfast. A must-visit cafe if you are around Notting Hill!”

  “We stopped by Kuro Coffee, a trendy London-style café, during our visit. Overall, the experience was decent, although not the best coffee we had in the area, as there are definitely other nearby options that we found better in terms of taste. The staff was very polite and professional, and we could clearly see a good working atmosphere among the team, which made the place feel welcoming and well-run. That positive energy definitely added to the experience. The coffee itself was good, but slightly too bitter for our personal taste. Of course, this can vary depending on individual preferences, so others might enjoy it more than we did. Despite that, the place has a nice vibe and seems like a good spot for breakfast or a casual stop. We would consider coming back to try other options from the menu, but probably not for coffee again. In short, a stylish café with friendly service and a good atmosphere, but not our favorite coffee in the area.”

  “My go-to coffee spot in the neighborhood—highly recommend. Staff is so friendly and nice, always smile~ Especially Tsukasa The hojicha and matcha lattes are top-notch, and the bakery selection is just as impressive (I especially loved the croissant 🥐). It’s not easy to find a place in Notting Hill with such a cozy and relatively quiet second floor, which makes it perfect for relaxing or getting some work done. No pressure for staying when you are here~ Thank you for creating such a lovely space and for the great service.”

  “We’ve always walked past this place on the way home but we popped in after lunch for some drinks and it was nice to see another charming coffee shop near home. We ordered a matcha latte and a hojicha latte and they were both nice. It would’ve been good to have been informed about the rewards points system prior to paying as we weren’t able to get the points retrospectively. The main area to pay and collect is a bit too small and claustrophobic especially when it’s busy as there were people sitting drinking their beverages, people queuing to order, to pay and to collect their drinks. Nice lattes.”

  “I stopped by this café this morning for a quick bite and a cup of coffee. It’s a small Japanese café called KURO (which means ‘black’ in Japanese). They serve coffee from OZON Coffee Roasters, and the coffee was good and well made. I also had a croissant, which was really nice even though it was served cold. The baristas were friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The shop itself is very small, with just a bench for seating, but it has its own charm. I’ll definitely be passing by more frequently for a quick coffee stop.”

  “12:45pm, Sunday. 31/08/25 KURO COFFEE Food & Drinks: - my Latte had balanced taste, good coffee beans, thank you barista ☕️ and paired beautifully with banana cake. - Recommend the banana cake 🌟 - Flat White, "was too milky, couldn't taste the 'Kuro' in coffee".. in this particular serving ~ - Iced Matchaccino; matcha was of good quality, however a conservative amount; tasted a little too much cream and milk. Though I've not tried myself yet; I believe the normal matcha may be a better choice here. Matchaccino greatly suited for those whom are starting out to try matcha. Atmosphere: for a small coffee shop - good outside bench seating - upstairs, windows letting in natural light; seemed like a nice space to work/ light reading. Though, can be a little crowded since as it seemed to allow laptops on weekends - if you're more than two, it'd be better to just take away and sit out in the sun. Service: Usually I don't mind a good coffee with a little sass or attitude, especially I understand Notting Hill can get quite busy and stressful when comes tourist szn. I can't help I'm excited to try KURO for the first time with my friends and captivated by the smell of grounded coffee beans☕️ and can be a little indecisive even if I agreed to confirming the order :') It being a nice sunny Sunday early afternoon.. before heading to KURO Bagels which is lovely by the way ~ ! I had looked away for the mere moment after ordering to look once more at the ceramic tumblers..when she called out to me to pay I said after looking for the card machine and realised the payment screen "ahh sorry I forget I need to get use to the large touch screen payments" however, the lady interrupted my apology with a glare "you mean you forget to pay?!" in a discourteous undertone. Yes, I may look young.. but sadly ignorant with technology as I work creatively offline. If I've upset the lady in some way, bc it either seemed like I was going to sit down (small shop; bench right next to tumbler shelf) or held up a potential queue for a minute.. I wish you well and hope you get some good night's rest after a long weekend of work🙏 Will try the matcha from KURO BAGELS next time, the atmosphere there is very inviting and the staff are attentive and patient 🫶 (^will review soon:)”
