Quick info
About Chief Coffee
Chief Coffee is a coffee shop on Turnham Green Terrace Mews in London, reached through an alleyway off the high street near Turnham Green station. It combines the cafe with a Japanese arcade upstairs, where the cabinets and games are in Japanese and include Mario Kart and rhythm games. The arcade machines take 100 yen coins, which come from a change machine on the top floor. In the basement, a pay-per-play pinball lounge gives players a mix of classic and modern tables, with a Ghostbusters machine among them. The coffee menu includes a flat white alongside cold brew and mocha, and baked goods and pastries sit next to the drinks. The team can explain the ingredients in the baked goods.

One reviewer who arrived first thing on a weekday found the pinball machines switched off, and staff happily turned them on.

“Lovely cafe with even lovelier staff. Our barista was very knowledgeable and told us all of the ingredients in the baked goods that matched our dietary requirements. The coffees and pastries were delicious and the cafe has an amazing playlist. To top it all off the arcade games are fun and unique. Will definitely be returning soon!”

“Honestly one of the coolest coffee shops available in West London! The owner and lady working there were super friendly, we ordered a few coffees and a sweet treat. The flat white, cold brew, and mocha were great! They even encouraged us to check out the arcade which is a hidden gem! Looking forward to visiting again soon with more friends.”
