Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often return for food that arrives hot and fresh, with the salt and chilli chips, salt and pepper items and chicken chow mein named as favourites. Close behind are the special mixed meat chow mein, Singapore noodles and the chicken and sweetcorn soup, described as tasty and at the right temperature. Several praise generous portions, good value and quick delivery, and a few call the staff friendly, with one mentioning the lady who takes orders as lovely. Fresh vegetables get a mention too. The complaints are serious but few. One reviewer who ordered for collection through Foodhub describes old, sticky, slimy fried rice with visible strings, says the shop blamed a different rice brand, and says prawn crackers tasted old too. A replacement was sent, but the reviewer still binned everything. Another reports finding a hair in chicken fried rice. Among the praise, one regular says every dish ordered twice has been excellent, and another orders for the friendly chat as much as the chow mein.

“Not so much of a fast food restaurant but a delivery service. Yet, limited seating is possible. Very friendly staff. Food is fresh, especially the vegetables.”

“I absolutely love Lucky Fish Bar – it’s hands down one of the best takeaways in London!!! The food is always incredibly fresh, hot, and full of flavour. You can really tell everything is cooked with care, and the quality is consistently amazing every time I order. A special shoutout to Connie, who is always so welcoming and lovely – she really makes the experience that extra bit special. It’s rare to find such genuine, friendly service these days! I sometimes order here just to have a chuckle with her. Delivery is always super fast, and the food arrives hot, which makes such a difference. Their dishes are always tasty, everything is fresh, delicious, and great value. Highly recommend – this place never disappoints!”
