Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the staff, describing friendly, attentive servers who made families feel welcome, with one helping a mother by doing her young daughter's hair. The food comes close behind, described as fresh, hot and full of flavour, with the chicken dishes and noodles praised, along with ribs, Singaporean noodles, Panda noodles and curry chips. A longtime regular names the chicken dumplings, dynamite prawns and red velvet wings as favourites since the rebrand, and another says the flavours recall old school Chinese takeaway. Complaints are fewer but specific. One reviewer who reordered a dish they had enjoyed days earlier received something different, found the manager dismissive after handing it back, and advises cross checking an order before leaving. Another reports a delivery that arrived so late there was little time to eat, with two calls going to voicemail, and suggests collecting in person. Yet a different delivery customer was won over by a handwritten note left after a missed phone call.

“Came here with my kids, I wish this place was closer to me, food was really good and one of the best takeaway chineses I had in a while, reminded of that old school Chinese take away flavours, I really enjoyed it. The highlight was 'affa' she was such a nice sister she really looked after us, she saw me struggling with my little ones hair and then ended up doing it for her, genuine heart may Allah bless her. Overall really liked it here just wish it was closer to me”

“Food is usually nice, this is my 3rd time ordering from here, however this is my last time. If you want to get food from here i recommend picking it up yourself. I waited 2 hours for mine to come not giving me or my fiancé enough time to eat. Tried calling twice both sent to voice mail they picked up on the 3rd try only to be told it’s not even out for delivery yet after an hour and 20 minutes. Not impressed at all.”

“I got a delivery and I genuinely am gobsmacked with the effort this place has put into its food and service. Not only was the food brilliant but they went out the way to write a handwritten note when I did not pick up the phone. Definitely run by good people and should support”

“Had a really great experience at Kung Pao. The food was genuinely excellent, full of flavour, fresh, and served hot. Every dish we tried was well-balanced and clearly prepared with care. It’s the kind of place where you can taste that the kitchen takes real pride in what they’re serving. What made the visit even better was the service from Sneha. She was incredibly accommodating, attentive without being intrusive, and went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect for us. Friendly, efficient, and just consistently on top of things. She really elevated the whole experience. I’d definitely come back again, both for the food and the great service.”
