“Feb 2026. This place is a scam. They insist on cash payments but would not accept a perfectly legal Northern Irish note. Then he asked me to pay online but the prices are more expensive! Even customers in the shop backed me up and walked out of the shop when they realised his racism towards me. I've been a customer here for over 15 years and have never been made to feel so terrible. Any legitimate business accepts both cash and card. I'm assume it's something about tax declarations. Response to restaurant reply: Again, it is not my fault that you employed people who don't understand. Other people in the shop verified that my bank note was acceptable and it was clearly not fake. Your staff refused to look at it and claimed it was not real money. This is a very politically charged statement to tell a Northern Irish person that they are not really British.”

“I’ve lived nearby for 15 years and have been ordering from Happy Inn all this time. It’s the best Chinese restaurant in our southeast area. The chicken wings and the king prawn chow mein are especially good — I order them every time. The food is always served piping hot and has a real home-style feel. Their chili oil is homemade, incredibly fresh, and properly spicy. The atmosphere is also great: air-conditioned in summer and heater in winter. I like chatting with the staff — it’s very relaxing.”
