Customer Review Summary
Cake draws the most praise here, with reviewers singling out a lemon cake and a strawberry cake, the latter paired with a latte. Coffee follows close behind, and diners also mention a chicken ciabatta, quiche and croissant that arrived fresh and still warm, plus sandwiches described as not bad. Several describe the staff as friendly, wiping tables and clearing rubbish while serving almost non-stop. The modern interior, clean toilets and reasonable prices for the location also earn mentions. The complaints are fewer but specific. One reviewer found the matcha watered down because the ice had melted before it arrived, another called the cafe small and noisy, and one felt the breakfast choice was limited. The sharpest criticism came from a diner who bought a pork chop sandwich from the hot lunch selection and found it cold. On returning it, they were told that items are kept under heat lamps and cannot be reheated.

“Nice place to have a quick bite and drink. The sandwiches are not bad as well!”

“The lemon cake was SO good, absolutely loved it! Unfortunately, the matcha was disappointing and I couldn’t finish it. The ice had already melted by the time it arrived, so it tasted quite watered down. The service was okay, but not as warm or friendly as many other cafés I’ve visited. Overall, the cake was the highlight.”

“Very small and noisy cafe. A selection of sandwiches and quiches were offered as “HOT LUNCH.” I got the pork chop sandwich and it was cold. I brought it back. I was told they are stored under heat lamps and can’t be heated up. Do not recommend.”

“What a great find in the middle of busy Westminster! It’s a small cafe, quite busy with tourist as expected but I used it to do some work with my laptop and was all fine. Modern interior + good value for money considering its location + great food - I tried their chicken ciabatta, quiche and croissant with coffee and everything was fresh and still warm. Highlight of the visit was the staff. I stayed here for an hour or so and there were 3-4 staff members for such a small cafe, and all of them were on top of keeping this place clean (wiping tables, taking rubbish away) while serving customers almost non-stop. All very friendly and approachable too.”

“Lovely small cafe, part of the methodist central hall. Only had 2 cold drinks and a cake but food looks delicious. And very reasonably priced too. Definitely worth popping in. Card payments only no cash.”
