  “It’s such a wonderful place. I actually spilled my drink while sitting at the bar table and didn't know what to do, but the staff member kindly cleaned it up and served me a fresh cup of coffee. They were so kind, and I was truly grateful. Thank you. Also, the cream bread is absolutely amazing, and the interior of the café is lovely.”

  “Really good coffee - 5 stars for that. Not a fan of the cups with no handles which are too hot for my delicate hands to hold and therefore have to faff about with a napkin wrapped around the cup in order to drink 1 - star for the cups. They don't have any vegan options for pastries whatsoever. I wish they did as I would come more often. Most bakeries do at least a couple of vegan options now.”

  “The inside is nice and simple, and I really like how they set up the pastries. I tried the pistachio one and loved it. The custard isn't too sweet just how I like it, but the others look pretty too, so I’m probably going back to try a different flavor.”

  “Love the vibe, such a nice place to chill. The staff are super friendly. Tried a few pastries so far, my favourite is the cornetto alla crema. Also love the chocolate olive oil cake!”

  “The pistachio croissant was so good and not too sweet, I really enjoyed it. The matcha was unfortunately the worst I’ve ever had as it was bland and I swallowed chalky bits of unblended matcha powder you can see in the picture.”

  “Superb new cafe/bakery in Leytonstone, right near the tube station. The coffee (from Hard Lines) is superb, really well extracted espresso. I had an iced latte and I really like the metal cups they serve them in. The pistachio croissant was outstanding with a light creme pattissiere interior that was infused with pistachio but also not too sweet. Delicious. I also had the mortadella and buratta Sandwich, made with a generous slad of well baked focaccia and was filling but also not too heavy. Excellent. Definitely worth stopping by here for a coffee, pastry or sandwich if in the area. They also sell sourdough loaves (£6) and a range of provisions at the back.”

  “Great pastry selection, even on a busy Sunday with a queue. Everything was fresh and flavoursome. The highlight was the almond croissant which was very buttery and not too sweet. The iced latte was very good as well and the service was very nice.”
