Customer Review Summary
Coffee is the most frequent draw, with reviewers praising the flat white, calling the coffee always great, and one couple describing visits several times a week. Close behind is the food, especially the banana bread, which one diner calls the best in the world. Others name the chicken sandwich, hot honey halloumi, chilli eggs, veggie sandwich, hummus and veg focaccia, and a white chocolate, raspberry and matcha cake. The garden seating earns repeated mention as lovely, relaxed and peaceful, and several describe it as a good space for working on a laptop. Staff are called kind, welcoming and helpful. The caveats are mixed. One reviewer found the matcha a letdown and could not finish it, while another loved it. One called scrambled eggs overpriced, though another found the food reasonably priced. One notes a long food wait, another says children were noisy, and one wishes the opening hours were longer. One reviewer says staff helped retrieve a receipt days after a visit.

“My partner and I come here 3-4 times per week. The staff is fantastic, the coffee is always great, the atmostphere is very calm and friendly. THE best banana bread in the world I'm not joking.”

“Absolute gem, great service and coffee. They also do food. There is a garden and community space as well, would recommend for any occasion, working from home or a date”

“My favourite coffee spot. 💞 I come here often, it’s definitely one of my favorites for coffee. That said, I tried the matcha recently and it was a letdown. The flavor just wasn’t right, and we couldn’t even finish it. Overall, I’ll still keep coming back for the coffee, but I’d probably skip the matcha next time. The food is quite overpriced - £10 for scrambled eggs felt a bit steep, though I guess that can be pretty normal for London these days. On the positive side, the staff are always really kind and welcoming, which makes a big difference. The garden seating area is lovely and has a very relaxed vibe, almost like you’re sitting in someone’s backyard. It’s a really nice place to unwind. I genuinely love coming here, I do wish the opening hours were a bit longer so I could stay longer.”

“This cafe is so cute with a lovely outdoor seating area which would be perfect for whenever the weather acts right. Food was lovely too. I would actually go there again x”

“This place is literally a hidden garden. I had such a peaceful moment surrounded by plants, sunshine, and the sweetest energy. It felt like a queer-friendly English garden — calm, lush, and full of love. The matcha was amazing, the veggie sandwich was actually delicious (even for someone who’s not usually into veggies), and the white chocolate + raspberry + matcha cake was next-level. The staff were so warm and friendly — smiling, singing, just super sweet humans. It’s the kind of place that feels like a safe space the second you walk in. Couldn’t recommend it more. 🌱✨”
