Customer Review Summary

The cooked food draws the sharpest complaints. One diner describes overdone eggs with oil on top, a hard, bland sausage, greasy mushrooms and a jacket potato that arrived undercooked and topped with chicken cubes instead of rashers. Another says the half Sunday roast came with two potatoes, two carrots and a Yorkshire pudding, the mojitos were tasteless and the waffles had shifted from Belgian to American style. A birthday cake buyer found little chocolate filling in a Chocolate Celebration cake, while another collected a birthday cake on time and found it exceeded expectations.

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ First visit — and I’m incredibly impressed! What a fantastic experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. Every dish we tried was excellent, and you can probably tell from the pictures just how much I enjoyed it! 😍🍽️ The atmosphere was lovely, the service was welcoming, and the overall experience was outstanding. It’s definitely not going to be my last visit. I’ll be coming back again and again, InshaAllah! Highly recommended — 5 stars all around! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“An absolute gem of a place, the way its laid out it gives you a feeling if space, it doesn't look crowded. The salad was fresh, sour dough bread was delicious and the veggie omelette 😋 👌 😍. And they actually serve butter for the bread! My compliments to the chef. The service was a tad slow as there only seemed one waitress. But overall a nice experience. I've still got to try the pastry but my problem is I look at cakes & pastries I put on weight lol 😆”

“Have been here a handful of times over the past 2 years. Unfortunately the standard has really dropped. Mojitos were tasteless, the half Sunday roast is tasty, but portion size is too small. Literally 2 cut potatoes, 2 carrots and a Yorkshire pudding. Gravy was tasty. We then ordered the dessert which has been the go to for us. But I think the waffles have changed from really tasty Belgian style waffles, to American style. Wasn't bad, but nowhere near we good as before. The total bill for all of that was over £100. Definitely not worth it. Unfortunately, we won't be going back, which is a shame, as we genuinely enjoyed this place and the brilliant atmosphere. Food quality has unfortunately not matched the rest. Sad.”

“Absolutely amazing experience! From the moment we walked in, we were treated like celebrities. The level of care, attention, and genuine hospitality was beyond anything we expected. A huge thank you to Ines, Alaa, Yahya, Salam, Jamal, Barbi, Roumayssa, and Kallie, every single one of you made our visit so special. You were all incredibly humble, kind, and attentive. It honestly felt like nothing was too much to ask even before we asked, you were already one step ahead! This kind of service is rare to find, and it truly made our experience unforgettable. We’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to everyone. Thank you again for making us feel so valued!”

“It was a really great experience for me. The salt beef bagel was absolutely delicious. I also tried four of the fruit-shaped desserts, and they were all amazing. My favourites, in order, were lemon, mango, apple, and tiramisu. I even bought strawberry and raspberry to try at home. The service and attention were excellent. Knowing that everything on the menu is halal made it very comfortable to order with confidence. The toilets were also very clean, which was another thing I really appreciated.”

The store is located above our main kitchens where all our patisserie is handmade by talented patissiers. With a terrace that is open throughout the year, whether it is rain or shine this store has something to offer. The store operates the Tearoom & Brasserie menus & has extended opening time.”
