“Amazing breakfast spot! I’ve gone to nice hotels and resorts but I’ve never had breakfast this great. Service was amazing, really quick and food was exceptional. Good portion size for the breakfast with a nice drink. They have Halal options for the menu which is great. Highly recommend!”

“A stumble-upon joy that must be recorded. We were wondering where we might pick up a late lunch after visiting National Trust’s Sutton House nearby and Google reviews suggested this might be worth trying. Well, what a surprise from the moment you come through the door; the decor proclaims sensitive owners who care, and are there, and that was confirmed by the welcome, the service and the food that followed. I can only agree with and add to the many praising reviews here. Worth deviating for.”

“Wonderful little place for halal brunch - although trying to find parking anywhere in Hackney is a nightmare. The restaurant itself is aesthetic and spacious with plenty of seating. Didn’t have to wait for a table even though the restaurant was busy. They have an outdoor seating area which is lovely on a hot day as it was on the day we went. Large menu with loads of breakfast items and food was served quickly and presented beautifully and tasted good. Service was warm and attentive and the atmosphere was chilled and relaxing - just what you want from a brunch place. Look forward to returning here!!”

“This is one of my favorite cafés in London. The atmosphere is lovely and relaxing, and the food tastes great and looks beautiful. I had the halal turkey rashers and beef sausage, which were really good. The pancakes were soft and fluffy. Overall, a great experience—10/10!”

Customer Review Summary
Pancakes draw the most praise at Beans & Bites, with reviewers singling out the Oreo cookies and cream pancake and the pistachio pancakes as soft, fluffy and well balanced in sweetness. Close behind is the presentation, from a brioche French toast topped with pistachio cream and a waffle cone to a full English platter and an iced pistachio rose latte served with a syringe of extra syrup. Several diners also like the halal options, naming the turkey rashers and beef sausage, and describe the space as spacious with a living wall, a sunroom and outdoor seating. Service is mostly called warm and quick, though one reviewer felt ignored by a staff member who set the menu down without a word and found it hard to flag down a waiter. The sharpest complaint concerns value: a returning customer received three pancakes instead of the five from an earlier visit for the same £15, and another calls the menu pricier. One table was surprised with a birthday sparkler without asking.
