  “Received amazing service and the food was lovely. They don’t skimp on portions and it’s very clean inside. The only reason it’s not a 5 star, is because I ordered a pash n shoot smoothie and it tasted of berries and I really don’t like berries. This made me think they were reusing the blenders probably rinsing but without washing them fully for different flavours. I couldn’t drink it. Other than that every thing was amazing and I’d come again.”

  “By-pass this cafe - and head down to Honor Oak’s Big plate cafe or BB cafe on Forest Hill high street. We were the first customers- the order (halloumi panini for vegetarian friend, halloumi and bacon for another and full english) took time but that’s ok. The panini’s turn up - and the veg halloumi one has tuna in the salad. We think maybe just a prep mistake so don’t say anything. The full English turns up five minutes later (why we were the first customers can’t you manage to cook at the same time?).Toast comes a few minutes later - again why? It should come together?. But now the tepid breakfast is now cold. We ask for it to be redone - and serve together with hot toast. Asked for an additional coffee which was brought out - and the only quick thing to come for all the breakfast was the lady asking for payment. A new plate comes - everything at once - but it was clearly not remade from scratch just everything reheated from original plate. That should have been a warning to me. Because it’s been reheated, most things tough on the plate. And the pot of baked beans tastes of washing up liquid - very badly. Should have asked for a refund but honestly the fact they couldn’t be bothered to come out and check everything was alright after the first issues - shows level of customer service. And reheating when they should have done from scratch… Avoid - go to big plate next to the Chandos or bb’s in Forest Hill for a delicious English breakfast served with a smile.”

  “This is definitely a popping place on a nice sunny day. Staff is very friendly and helpful! As an American, I loved the sides (fried plantain, sweet potato fries & curly fries) and the prices. Finally, an affordable place with decent portions in London. We got the burgers (chicken + veggie) and honestly it’s a pass. It definitely tastes like a £6 burger haha it’s very similar to Morleys or sumn of the sorts. I did like the milkshakes as well. Nice on a warm day & they have a bunch of flavors! We got pistachio (very light taste of pistachio, mostly vanilla) & snickers. Young kids (like teens or early 20s) are around doing or selling drugs but they dont bother anyone or are in your face about it. I would definitely come back and try the breakfast/brunch!”

  “One of the best pistachio latte in the area hands down in my opinion. So Friendly and welcoming, down to earth and choice of music is always a vibe playing reggae and all types of music that reflects London to a tee, diverse and culturally rich. The staff work hard you can genuinely see they are real and care about working well as a team and importantly have fun. It’s just a bubbly active nice place to eat and drink and it’s hands down one of the best halal breakfast in south east London. You get what you pay for. service, food quality with presentation and cleanliness. Highly recommended. Clean food fresh and you reap the rewards of what you’re eating. If you’ve never tried this cafe, it’s a must go. They also have a really fun element of the cafe which is to press the stopper at the entrance door. If you land it at exactly 03.00 you get a free reward. Although they may get extremely really busy at times it’s worth a short wait and they quickly sort out empty tables. The energy of the place speaks for itself. Top tier cafe. Thank you !!”

  “Crofton Park Cafe is a gem! The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. My English breakfast was cooked to perfection, especially the egg! My friend and I both ordered it and were not disappointed. And those deep-fried Oreos? Amazing! The Oreo milkshake was also incredible. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the cafe itself is so beautiful, with colorful walls that add to the vibrant atmosphere. Highly recommend!”

  “This was the best way to start my Saturday with my son treating me to breakfast at Cafe Crofton😁 This was my 2nd time visiting and the food was on point, I was sad that they don’t do the Red velvet waffle anymore though 😩 They have refurbished the cafe and I love the new look and artwork. It is also nice to see the workstation where the food is being freshly made. The playlist was on point playing old school rnb and the atmosphere was busy but nice We both got the NYC Platter with hot chocolate which was delicious and soooo filling that we couldn’t even finish it as the portion size is big so we had to take the rest home! I like that the hot chocolate comes with a biscoff biscuit, straw and spoon, which is a nice touch 👌🏽 We’ll be back with the rest of the family soon!”

  “The decor was vibrant and fresh at this cafe, went with a friend for our monthly brunch meet. The menu is vast and interesting, went for an American waffle with scrambled eggs and syrup, portion size was good, but waffle was over cooked, but the chef replaced with another one which was better at no extra charge. Overall a nice brunch.”
