“Well run spoons, some of the staff have been here for many years. Drinks at great, food is edible. All in one level so once you're in it's easy to navigate. People using wheelchairs or scooters can request a ramp to get up/down the two steps in.”

“I always visit a spoons if there’s one around and this was no different. I know they all kind of look the same but if I can get a pint in London for £3 instead of £7, I’m there. Someone did tell me that some Londoners look down on these pubs. Either way you can’t argue with price. The drink selection is massive, the food is ok but good for the price. We had food in the evening before a gig and a breakfast after we left the hotel the next morning. Both were really good. Always worth a visit!”

“Sunday night, 9:30pm, after a concert and want to get a late dinner. Checked the pubs in the Farringdon area, many of them claiming to be open till 12 or later. Then you look closer, and their kitchens close at 8pm. So I thought: s-d it, check the closest Spoons. Open till 12, kitchen also open. Moreover, cheap and you know what you're getting. Their fish and chips are not groundbreaking or anything, but nonetheless respectable and I enjoyed it very much. Most importantly, they were open! Thanks for the late Sunday night treat!”
