  “I walked an hour to see this pub, my ancestor is the brother of Sir Christopher Hatton, had a pint here, nice staff, nice looking pub and I will definitely come back another day, I plan to visit Sir Christopher Hatton in Westminster and his nephew in St Paul's one day too.”

  “I don't really have much to compare it with in terms of London prices, but I don't think the price of £15 for, granted, a small sirloin steak baguette and chunky chips along with a pint of Doom Bar. Even more so when I had seen £7 a pint for beer elsewhere. The friendly service was appreciated.”

  “This pub is phenomenal. Service is great. Food is great and atmosphere is fab. Ozzy was a great waiter for our table and had excellent table service and helped recommend me my new favourite wine. I would recommend if you’re in the area”

  “Great pub in Hatton Garden. Really nice atmosphere, excellent choice of beers, plus darts and pool which makes it a great spot to spend an evening with friends. Definitely one of the better pubs I’ve been to in the area.”

  “We held our wedding reception here for 50+ guests and it was everything we could have hoped for, largely thanks to Toby, the manager 🙌 From the very first conversation, he was exceptional! He asked all the right questions, suggested ideas for food and decoration we hadn't even thought of, and guided us through the planning process with a calm and genuine care that made a real difference. Whenever we were unsure or nervous about something, he had an answer ready and never made us feel like we were bothering him. Response times were always prompt and every detail was taken care of! On the day itself, the team had already set up all our decorations before we even arrived 🎉 The buffet ran smoothly, food came out quickly, and drinks were well managed. He was transparent and communicative throughout about the open bar tab, and was constantly checking in on us without ever being intrusive. The food genuinely impressed our guests! So many people came up to us raving about it, which as a couple is exactly what you want to hear on your wedding day 😊 The drinks were great too and the whole team were brilliant from start to finish. What really stood out was that the care felt genuine. You could see it and feel it, and it made the whole day so much more relaxed and enjoyable. Worth mentioning that Sir Christopher Hatton is not normally open on weekends, but they opened exclusively for us - that alone says a lot! Pricing was also really reasonable for everything we got, which made the whole experience even better. We are so grateful to Toby and the whole team for making our wedding reception so special ❤️ If you're looking for a venue for a wedding reception or any private event, we would highly recommend this place without hesitation!”

  “Usam looked after us very well. Was able to get a table quickly for 6 hungry lads. Food arrived quickly. Well priced, good selection of beers. Atmosphere is not too noisy, but good ambient hum. We tend to come here monthly and haven't been disappointed so far.”

  “Classic British pub done right. The food on offer has a brilliant range of pub classics that are all cooked very well with good quality ingredients and are a definite step up from your average pub restaurant. The selection of beers available offer a great mix of dependable staples, popular imports and fresh craft options. The staff are very friendly and helpful and serve the customers fast. The venue has a good amount of seating available and a large bar area too. The decor is warm and homely and kept nice and clean. I would recommend booking a table for peak times if you plan on dining as it can get very busy.”
