About The Greyhound Sydenham
The Greyhound Sydenham is a London gastropub serving British cooking alongside a pint selection at the bar. The dining room has large windows, and a conservatory sits downstairs. Sunday roast is served from the British menu, and the pub hosts a quiz night for anyone who wants to join in. A separate private dining room takes groups, and it is used for family celebrations and private events. Dogs are welcome, so visitors can bring them along.

“The worker here was very disrespectful towards me and hence I have take a tree branch to put under my table as it was unstable and had the nerve to come out and shout trying to embarrass me , not professional at all , could have fixed the table as it is a massive health and safety issue is a hazard for elderly and kids , fix your tables then come out and shout like your boss , I came out to have a drink not to fix people’s businesses .”

“I hosted a baby shower at the greyhound this weekend, and I was so blown away with the service, the quality of the food, and the space itself. We were based in the conservatory space downstairs and it was beautiful - the pub is bright, tastefully decorated and has a calm happy atmosphere. The food was excellent and the staff team couldn’t have been more helpful and proactive. Victoria was our contact prepping for the event and she was really responsive and helpful in giving her advice for planning and again on the day. Shout to the wider team as well who were equally attentive and friendly. All in, I’d love to come back for drinks or dinner and just enjoy the space again, would definitely recommend. Thanks team for looking after us!”

“Not sure if the Italian fella is the landlord or manager, if the manager they made the right choice, he look after myself and family as if we were the only people in the place, interacted with my 3 yesterday old grandson every time he came to the table. When we were leaving came and thanked us, nice touch. The food was fantastic, my steak was cooked exactly as I like it, chips big and chunky. Whole heartedly recommend The Greyhound in Sydenham if you want great food and service.”
