About Railway Tavern
Railway Tavern is a pub on The Railway in London, right next to Tulse Hill station. Bad Boys Pizza Society holds a pizza residency inside the pub, so pizza is the food on offer, with a burrata ball available as a topping. On the first Friday of each month, the Pepperpot night brings ska, reggae, rocksteady and 60's soul, and live music is also on certain nights. Football plays on many screens around the pub. A pool table, table football and a table tennis table give visitors games to play alongside the bar, and a happy hour runs as well. The pub opens daily and welcomes dogs.

Customer Review Summary
Pizza draws the most praise at this pub, with reviewers singling out the burrata ball topping and a pizza residency they call the best they have had, usually enjoyed with a cold pint. Close behind are the large beer garden, with its canopies, beach hut style seating and heaters, and the live music, which one reviewer says is always good. Several come for football on the many screens, and the staff are repeatedly described as friendly and helpful. A few reviewers raise problems. One says the pizza took ages to arrive and came out rock hard and burnt, another found a ska and reggae night turned into 70s and 80s soul after 10:30pm without the flyers saying so, and a regular was unhappy that drinks are not allowed in the side garden after their pint was taken while they went for a smoke. One reviewer describes the security as rude and belligerent. Another reviewer says the bartender made them and all their friends feel welcome through the whole evening.

“Security is incredibly rude and belligerent. Either he was on a power trip or felt like picking on me. Some bs went on and I’m not with that at all. Just know your pub didn’t see a single red penny from me tonight and never will. Nothing could possess me to go back to this place.”

“Amazing staff and beautiful vibe. Sonny behind the bar was great the whole evening and made me and all my friends feel welcome. Will definitely visit again.”

“Great pub and not going to break the bank either which is more than welcome nowadays. Live music offered on certain nights and a large pub garden with various canopies and beach hut-esque seating for bigger groups with heaters for the colder seasons. Bad Boys Pizza Society also have a residency in the pub and do amazing pizzas to wash down with a cold pint”
