About Ladywell Tavern
Ladywell Tavern is a pub in London at 80 Ladywell Rd, open daily and set up as a single bar with a U-shaped counter around a central servery and exposed brick walls. A fire is lit in colder weather. Live music runs through the week, with jazz sessions, Gipsy Jazz and open mic nights alongside other gigs. At the back, the Lady Wall shows pictures of female musicians and performers, which gives the music programme a visual tribute. The kitchen serves food all day, every day, with burgers and other pub classics on the menu. Sunday brings roast dinners with a choice of pork belly, chicken or beef. Happy Days drinks deals run all day from Monday to Thursday. Dogs are welcome.

Customer Review Summary
Live music draws the most praise, with reviewers singling out the open mic nights, a Gipsy Jazz duo on a Tuesday evening and gigs through the week. Food comes close behind. The burgers are mentioned repeatedly, and Sunday lunch earns praise for a pork belly with big carrots and parsnips, plus a chicken roast that one diner calls a treat next to the beef. Reviewers also like the covered back garden with its booths, the roaring fireplace in winter, and a crowd of families, dogs and locals, with one noting kids are welcome until 8pm. The reservations are small. One reviewer found the choice of non-alcoholic beers limited, and another called the price of a lager above average. Service gets warm words throughout, from friendly chat while the pint is poured to a team that knows one regular's usual order.

“Went for a couple of points after work and had food as well as the menu was so enticing. The burgers were amazing. Service was great - smiles and conversation whilst serving the pint. Good background music and a really chilled vibe (not like The Watch House).”

“The best pub in Ladywell, staff are class, top tier food, they know my usual order and have great events and gigs on through the week. The garden is the best on a sunny day and in winter the fire is such a cosy vibe.”

“The Ladywell Tavern is a decent local find. I visited on a Tuesday evening to catch up with a friend and was immediately struck by the warm, communal atmosphere. The highlight of the night was the Mazaika Duo 🎻🎹; their Gipsy Jazz performance was incredible and perfectly suited the space. The options of non-alcoholic beers were limited, and I didn’t order any food. I will update my review after further visits. It’s welcoming, authentic, and much more affordable than many spots in the city. I’ll definitely be back!”
