About The Euston Tap
The Euston Tap is a pub at 190 Euston Road in London, pouring beer since 2010 from a former gatehouse to Euston station. The taps run a rotating range of cask and keg beer from UK breweries, with international beer alongside. Craft beers, real ales and ciders are on tap, and German beers are served as well. The bar inside is small, and a spiral staircase leads up to more seats and the toilets. Railway memorabilia is on display in the building, which ties the room to its station-gatehouse past. Food comes down to crisps, so the focus stays on the drinks. The pub is listed in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers come mainly for the beer, with a wide range of real ales leading, and craft beers, ciders and a run of German beers close behind. Several call the staff friendly and knowledgeable, and a few say prices are reasonable for central London. Others mention the railway memorabilia, the old gatehouse setting, and air con on a hot day. The pub is small inside, with most seating in the outdoor area and beer garden, which gets popular in good weather, and a few more seats upstairs. The tight spiral staircase to the upstairs seating and the toilets comes up repeatedly, and one reviewer jokes it could be hard to manage after too many beers. One visitor found a lot of the choice had run out by Sunday, after more to choose from on Friday. Food is limited to crisps. One reviewer recalls the barman offering a taster of Siren before pouring a pint of it.

“Popped in for a quick half on my way to the British Library today. Good selection of different beers. Very reasonable prices for central London (£2.50 for a half! In Zone 1!). Service was nice and the outdoor seating area was very pleasant. Decent music playing, not too loud, and people just pleasantly going about their afternoon. Nobody being too loud or watching videos on their phone without headphones, although I guess this in particular is hit or miss as it's right outside Euston station.”

“Lovely air con on a sweltering day. Beer reasonable prices and kept well. I had Fuller's London Pride. Lots of atmosphere and railway memorabilia. Toilets are down a narrow flight of steps.”

“Cannot believe I got a pint of real ale for £4.60 in London. Many good beers on tap, shame I didn't have time to sample all, but will do when next at Euston. Small bar but plenty of space outside, quick service - what's not to like 👍🏻”

“Superb quirky little bar situated inside an interesting building just outside Euston Station. Large range of craft beers, real ales and ciders. The freindly barman offered us a taster of Siren, not come across this beer before. Well worth the taste and served us a cracking pint of Siren. Plenty of outside seating not so much inside downstairs more seating and tables upstairs. Although to get upstairs there js a very tight spiral staircase to negotiate. Note the toilets are upstairs. If you're early for your train or is delayed worth a visit.”

“This is a fantastic pub outside Euston Train Station. We went on a Friday and also the Sunday. It’s small inside, with a spiral staircase to take you upstairs to more seats and the toilets. Lots of outdoor seating. A variety of drinks to offer. There was more to choose from on the Friday, they’d ran out of a lot on the Sunday. Affordable and knowledgeable staff.”

“The Euston Tap has been pouring great beer since 2010 We serve a rotating range of cask and keg from the best breweries in the UK with a heavy dose of international beer also. In early 2021, our much expanded beer garden opened, creating seating space for more than 100 people. Enjoy the Tap”
