About Square Tavern
Square Tavern is a London pub at 26 Tolmer's Square, just off Euston Road. The original wrap-around bar anchors the room, and the walls carry Londinium curiosities and pieces of local history, so there is something to look at while you wait for a drink. The food menu runs from Chicken Schnitzel to fish and chips, with burgers alongside. At the bar, draught Moretti sits next to bottled Camden Hells and Guinness. Music plays in the pub, and the format is a bar with a food menu rather than a restaurant.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the food, with the burgers and the chicken schnitzel named specifically, and one calls the fish and chips the best they have found in London, with a generous dinner portion. Draught Moretti, bottled Camden Hells and plenty of Guinness come up for drinks, and several mention a good choice overall. Close behind is the friendly, attentive service from the bar team and the waiting staff, along with a warm, lively atmosphere with great music that one compares to a typical local. One reviewer believes new management has had a lovely impact, and another notes the place looks recently refreshed. Prices are described as reasonable. The one critical review describes very slow service and an order of two portions of fries that arrived as a single bowl, which staff insisted was a double portion even after being told twice. Several others close on the same kind of detail, with a bar team that gave advice on food choices.

“After a long travel on foot, we found this place. We were looking for the best fish n chips experience in London- and what can we say, except that we found it! The waitress Kelly was very welcoming and friendly. The food was prepared by their Chef Orane - the dinner version was a really generous, extremely delicious portion. We would def recommend!”

“Really enjoyed my latest visit and the new management that I believe happened last month has had a lovely impact. Great food - those burgers 😋 and a nice beer selection, attentive and friendly service and lots of positive feedback heard from others in the pub too. Tucked away but once you know you know 👌”
