About The Camel & Artichoke
The Camel & Artichoke is a pub at 121 Lower Marsh in London, close to Waterloo Station and Leake Street. The kitchen is closed, so guests can bring their own food or buy it nearby and eat it at the pub. The bar pours cocktails on tap alongside regular pints of beer and cider. Sofas give the room places to sit, and big screens show sports, including football on match days. A beer garden at the back is a small space that gets some sun. Tourists and locals both drink here.

Customer Review Summary
The beer garden at the back is what reviewers raise most, described as a nice spot to sit in the sun with wine or to find quiet away from the city bustle, with one calling it tiny and another noting heated circular benches. Close behind, reviewers praise friendly staff and a chilled atmosphere, with sports on the big screen drawing people in to watch the football. Several mention the comfy sofas, curly fries, good music and cocktails on tap, and one says it is a place to chill with friends or alone. The complaints are specific. One reviewer on a football Sunday found the bartender uninterested, saw the pub run out of glasses so a cocktail came in a small wine glass with pure foam, and called the toilets beyond disgusting. Another notes the kitchen is gone even though the menu is still online. Food can be bought outside and eaten there, and a couple of reviewers appreciate being allowed to bring their own.

“I had such an amazing time here! The pub has beautiful decor, and a really nice beer garden out back to sit in the sun while drinking your wine. The service was amazing, my bartender Chrissy was so sweet and lovely! I will be back because of how welcoming Chrissy and her manager were. I highly recommend this pub 100% 10/10.”
