Customer Review Summary
The spice bag is what most reviewers come for, with chicken, plenty of chips and curry sauce. One diner calls it the best they've had, and another found the Thai twist more flavorful than the Irish original. Fried rice, prawns and vegetable spring rolls also earn praise, and one reviewer recommends the fried rice. At the bottomless brunch, diners enjoy Guinness and spicy margaritas, describe the live band as excellent and fabulous, and note friendly, hard working staff who kept glasses topped up. The complaints are specific. One reviewer says the music was so loud they ended up shouting across the table, and the same diner was asked for last drinks before the brunch slot ended. A group in a booked snug reports that staff refused to serve through the hatch and were rude and dismissive when questioned. Another diner found the green curry vegetables overcooked and the drunken noodles uncooked, and would return only for drinks and the spice bag.

“I took my friend to Molly Mc’s for their bottomless brunch to celebrate his birthday after hearing so many good things about it, and we were really looking forward to it. We had a two-hour booking and were seated within 5–10 minutes of opening. The food and drinks arrived quickly, and our server, Sydney, couldn’t have been more helpful. She was friendly, attentive, and even brought us extra sauce for our spice bag without any fuss, which was much appreciated. The food itself was really enjoyable, but there were a couple of things that stopped it from being a five-star experience. Firstly, the music was incredibly loud. My friend and I could barely hear each other across the table and ended up shouting for around an hour. I don’t mind background music and appreciate a lively atmosphere, but this was a little too much. Secondly, we were asked for our last drinks around 30 minutes before the end of our two-hour slot, which made it feel like we didn’t quite get the full bottomless brunch experience. It wasn’t a huge issue, but it was a little disappointing. Overall, we still had a lovely time, the food was great, and Sydney’s excellent service really stood out. If you enjoy a lively, energetic venue with loud music, you’ll probably love it. For us, turning the volume down just a notch would have made the experience even better.”

“Visited yesterday for the bottomless brunch. Had a great time, service was first class and the food. We had spicebag and the fried rice, both were really good, recommend the fried rice. Guinness was good and being bottomless had a few. The other drinks in the list were also being served, had a couple of Spicy Margs these also very nice. Also dog friendly our 2 had a great time meeting lists of people and the friendly staff. All in all a great afternoon, place was full and the band were excellent. Give it go, you'll not be disappointed. You can stay on after and have a karaoke booth to keep the party going...”

“Had a great experience here yesterday. It was nice and cool inside, which was a concern when it was 30 degrees outside! There were 6 in our group and we all chose the spice bag which was lovely, so many chips! The staff were so hard working and friendly, our glasses were kept topped up for the full 90 minutes. The band were fabulous and the atmosphere was fantastic. A slick operation, really efficient and well run. All in all we had a great time and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Molly Mcs.”

“Disappointing service ruins a great space. We booked a snug last night for a group of 6 to celebrate a work milestone. While the space itself is great, the service was highly disappointing. The bar staff refused to serve us through the hatch, insisting we leave the snug and order both food and drinks at the main bar. They claimed they were "too busy" to use the hatch, though the bar wasn't that crowded. Having grown up in Ireland and worked as a bartender for many years, I know exactly what a snug is meant for. Today, customers use them specifically to enjoy some privacy and avoid the crush of the main bar. Forcing guests out defeats the entire purpose. To make matters worse, the staff were quite rude and dismissive when we questioned this. It completely took the shine off our celebration, and unfortunately, we won't be back. Management might want to educate their team on how a snug is actually supposed to operate.”

“Incredible Irish pub hidden away down a little alley! Such an amazing design and atmosphere, with terrific live music and dancing! Great selection of drinks, and their Spice Bags are out of this world!!! I can't wait to come back and have another Spice Bag!”
