Customer Review Summary
Sunday roast draws the most praise, with reviewers singling out lamb that falls off the bone, crispy potatoes, and a porchetta roast one diner calls among their favourites ever tried in London. Portions are described as big, and desserts such as cheesecake, sticky toffee pudding and pistachio tiramisu come up repeatedly. Beyond the roast, one reviewer recommends the Albion Burger and the Apple and Elderflower Spritz, and another enjoyed a generous tuna niçoise with the tuna cooked rare. The lively back garden, shaded by big fringed umbrellas, and friendly staff recur across the reviews. Criticism is milder but specific: service can be a bit slow when the pub is busy, and one diner found the lamb rigatoni too salty. Another, arriving without a booking on a Sunday evening, was offered a table an hour later, then told to reserve online and ended up doing so on their phone while standing in front of the staff.

“I don’t usually take time out to leave good reviews - but I couldn’t resist for the phenomenal experience I had at The Albion. I came here for a roast with my partner and will definitely be returning. Stunning food, fab atmosphere and just all around great service. Highly recommend the pistachio tiramisu for dessert too, :)”

“Sunday lunch in the back garden here is a treat — shaded by big fringed umbrellas, properly relaxing. Had the tuna niçoise: generous, tuna cooked perfectly rare. Handsome dining room too if you’re inside. Great service, no rush. Will be back!”

“Absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the drinks were excellent, and the service was genuinely outstanding. The staff went above and beyond to make everyone feel comfortable and looked after throughout the evening. A special mention to one of the team members who was incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive. It’s rare to find service that feels so genuine and effortless. Her positive attitude and attention to detail really elevated the whole experience. Without a doubt one of the best pubs I’ve visited. Great drinks, great atmosphere, and exceptional customer service. Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely be returning soon! THANKS FOR ALBİONNNN!!!”

“Coming to the Albion, I was wondering why the 4 stars average if the place was always full. Turns out there is a misunderstanding: if you go on the weekend, or expect a traditional pub experience, probably that’s not the best place for you. But if you like a good atmosphere, great service and good food, you’ll enjoy them here. For me it’s a “yes!””

“I've been here three times now and honestly have no complaints. The atmosphere is always great, the service is amazing, and the general managers are really friendly and welcoming. I'd definitely recommend the Albion Burger and the Apple and Elderflower Spritz if you're visiting.”
