About The Jolly Sisters
The Jolly Sisters is a pub on Bride St in London, set in a faux Tudor interior with black beams and Whitbread leaded stained glass. Arsenal memorabilia sits behind the bar, and on match day the Arsenal crowd watches the game on a large screen TV. The pub has two rooms, a smaller bar at the front and a larger one at the rear. A dartboard has enough space to play, and a jukebox and a fruit machine add more to do. The bar stocks Guinness, Inches Cider and a range of gins, vodkas and whiskey. No food is served, and the pub is open daily. It sits near the Caledonian Rd underground and overground stations and the 153 bus route.

Customer Review Summary
Guinness is the most repeated draw, with reviewers calling it exceptional and one of the best they have tried, and one noting the landlord likes to top it with a shamrock. Close behind is the welcome. Reviewers describe friendly staff and locals, and a landlady who made a loud group of Scottish visitors feel very welcome. They also call it a proper old pub, small, uneven and perfectly formed. The outdoor seating is praised for catching the sun, and a dartboard with enough room to actually play is noted as increasingly rare. On Arsenal match days the pub fills with fans, and one group enjoyed the atmosphere while watching a win over Real Madrid. The one complaint comes from that same group, who say they were yelled at for not ordering enough, though they thought it reasonable given their size. Several reviewers say they would return, and one who arrived with a dog was handed a bowl of water without asking.

“Stopped in here as my dad was born in Bride Street in 1931. The landlord Alex was an absolute gem, great to talk to and serves the best Guinness in London even though he loves a shamrock shape on the top usually! It's a proper old pub, small, uneven and perfectly formed.”

“We came here after looking for a pub with some space outside in the sun. Was the first time we came here, but would definitely recommend. Very friendly staff and locals. We came with our dog and they gave a bowl of water for the dog too. We'll definitely come back!”

“COYG!! An Arsenal bar. Saw Arsenal win 2-1 against Real Madrid. We did get yelled at for not ordering enough but given our group size I guess that’s reasonable lol? 5 stars for a good atmosphere during the game”
