  “Like another reviewer said, a man dressed in chef’s whites was in the public area of the pub banging on the door and window at people walking by outside, and even gesturing rudely behind the glass. So inappropriate beyond words, I was with my daughter and had been planning on stopping by for lunch after a bit of shopping at Broadgate but this completely put me off.”

  “Here for fish and chips after a work day. Ran out of fish but steak and ale pie was decent sub. Szymon did a good job taking care of the group.”

  “Such a wonderful spot. First time in London. Right by the office and I felt like I had been coming here for years. Service with a smile seems like an old tired phrase but it's a real thing and it was delivered. Thank you for a great experience!”

  “The staffs are very friendly, efficient, and fast. They manage heavy weekday rushes remarkably well. Foods are decent. Best place for after work refreshments.”

  “If you like loud pubs this is your perfect place. Very networky as it's in Moorgate's business area. Youngish professionals and mid range. Three guest ales ales - Tribute, a Green King and Deuchars. Pressing lagers and beers, Inches Cider and Guinness. Variety of wines. & spirits (double up on all spirits for £3) Menu shared platters (tapas in Spain), Sharers Nachos, wings and trio of fries, burgers/ sandwiches. I went for three shared platters - crispy smashed potatoes which were more cheesy than crispy, crispy squid(in sweet chilli sauce) and crispy battered cod goujons. Very very nice. Three are adequate for one person. Service is good and efficient. Recommended. Drinking outside - standing where it's less noisy, and crowded and cooler. Rest your glass on the window sills.”

  “This was the worst beef burger I’ve ever had. It was so overcooked and dry and the bun was very hard and stale around the edges. Drinks were good and service was great. But my friend and I both had the burger and were left disappointed.”

  “Very good food and traditional British setting. Lovely old pub. We watched England win the euro final here and had a great time. I asked the lovely staffs names, they are Tom and Nita, excellent hosts!!! Thank you!!”
