Customer Review Summary

Diners most often single out the lively, bustling atmosphere and the broad drink selection, naming Tribute, Green King, and Deuchars among the guest ales alongside Guinness, cider, and a full spirits list with a double-up offer. The shared platters draw repeated praise, with reviewers calling out crispy squid in sweet chilli sauce and crispy battered cod goujons, while the steak and ale pie steps in as a solid substitute when fish runs out. Several describe the service as friendly, efficient, and quick, even during heavy weekday rushes. A recurring complaint centers on the beef burger, described by one group as overcooked, dry, with a hard, stale bun. One reviewer reports a chef in whites gesturing rudely at passersby from the pub’s public area.

Like another reviewer said, a man dressed in chef’s whites was in the public area of the pub banging on the door and window at people walking by outside, and even gesturing rudely behind the glass. So inappropriate beyond words, I was with my daughter and had been planning on stopping by for lunch after a bit of shopping at Broadgate but this completely put me off.

Here for fish and chips after a work day. Ran out of fish but steak and ale pie was decent sub. Szymon did a good job taking care of the group.

I've really enjoyed my new experience here. His name was szymon and made the atmosphere very lively as well as the service was really great and quick. Would definitely go there again.

Such a wonderful spot. First time in London. Right by the office and I felt like I had been coming here for years. Service with a smile seems like an old tired phrase but it's a real thing and it was delivered. Thank you for a great experience!
  • Nadim Hossain
The staffs are very friendly, efficient, and fast. They manage heavy weekday rushes remarkably well. Foods are decent. Best place for after work refreshments.

How this listing is sourced

Where the data comes from
Name, address, hours, contact details, amenities, ratings and review counts come from the business's publicly available profile data — not from the owner and not from paid submissions.
How it stays current
Every listing is re-checked on a recurring crawl, and anything reported as wrong is corrected at the source rather than patched on the page.
How it is ranked
Placement is never sold. Every business on the page is ordered and compared using the same public signals, so an owner cannot pay to move up.
