“We travelled all the way from Germany and stumbled into this place. The food was outstanding, fresh, generous portions, and full of flavour. Everything came out at the right pace and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was cosy and relaxed, exactly what we were hoping for after a long day of sightseeing. It’s rare to feel this looked after as a tourist, and it made our visit to the UK even more memorable. Have to mention the nicest staff member, Don, who took care of us for the evening and honestly made the whole trip feel special. He was warm, attentive, and full of great recommendations for what to try, without ever being pushy. He has such a natural warmth, the kind of host who makes you feel like a regular even on your first visit. If we’re ever back in town, we’re coming straight back here.”

“Had a fantastic experience! The food was excellent, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. A special mention goes to Don, who served us throughout our visit. He provided outstanding service, was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. He's a genuinely great guy and a real credit to the team. The food was equally impressive. The fish and chips were perfectly cooked with a crispy batter, the steak was tender and full of flavour, and the burgers were juicy and delicious. The desserts were also a highlight and rounded off a great meal. Overall, a wonderful dining experience with excellent food and exceptional customer service. Thanks again to Don for making our visit so enjoyable. We'll definitely be returning and highly recommend this pub to anyone looking for great food and friendly service!”
