About Tony Macaroni - Livingston
Tony Macaroni on The Hub in Livingston serves Italian food, with pizza and pasta alongside Mediterranean comfort food and small plates in a modern dining room. Pizza appears in large sizes, including a 13 inch option, and can be ordered as a half-and-half. Lunchtime specials run alongside the main menu, and on Sundays every dish is priced at a flat rate. Table service applies throughout, with a waiter or waitress assigned to each table, and a 10% service charge is added to the bill. The restaurant takes walk-ins rather than reservations, and a wait for a table is common without one. It opens daily. The wine list does not include Chianti, and Guinness is not on offer.

“We had outstanding dining experience thanks to our waiter Paul From the moment we arrived, he was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely friendly. He knew the menu well, offered excellent recommendations, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal without being intrusive. His professionalism, positive attitude, and attention to detail made us feel valued as guests. It’s rare to receive service that is both efficient and personal, and he achieved that effortlessly. He truly went above and beyond to make our evening memorable. I would happily return and hope to be served by him again. Thank you for providing such exceptional customer service!”

“Well you better have a big appetite if you go to ToniMacs as it is known in Livingston. Portion sizes are huge see picture of 13" Pizza and the Rigatoni. I enquired about the ice cream as it was so so good. Apparently the brand is Equis which is owned by the same company as ToniMacaroni, superb! Today we were so well looked after by Jamilea, so kind and helpful. So good when a smile can help the meal go down. If you are on a budget the lunch time specials are a great buy.”

Customer Review Summary
Portion sizes and the pizza and pasta selection draw the most praise, with reviewers highlighting a 13 inch pizza, rigatoni, risotto, and a half and half combo as generous, fresh, and tasty, alongside a lasagne one diner called firm rather than sloppy. Close behind is the service, with several singling out individual servers by name for going above and beyond, adding extra chillies, or offering recommendations, though this is inconsistent: other reviewers describe a rude waitress, an owner who ignored a waiting customer, and staff eating pizza at the hot plate in view of diners. A recurring gripe is the automatically added 10% service charge, which one reviewer felt should be optional rather than forced onto the bill. The wine list also draws complaints, with one diner noting no Chianti and an underwhelming Primitivo, while another mentions Guinness isn't served and some waiting for a table. Several close by saying they'd return, and one describes being offered lunchtime specials and a Sunday flat rate on every dish.
