About PANAM Restaurant & Bar
PANAM Restaurant & Bar is a restaurant and bar in Liverpool, set in a former dock warehouse inside the Grade 1 listed Britannia Pavilion at Albert Dock. The building has an original stone floor and exposed brick walls across two levels, with booths and window seats that face the marina. The menu pairs Scouse, a beef stew with potatoes, carrots and onions served with crusty bread and pickled cabbage, with the Panam burger and a Sunday Roast of pork and crackling. The venue is open daily. Two pool or snooker tables and a table football table sit alongside the dining areas, and live music plays in the evening.

Customer Review Summary
Scouse is the dish reviewers raise most, described as a hearty stew of tender beef, potatoes, carrots and onions served with crusty bread and pickled cabbage, and one reviewer with a gluten free requirement says staff took care of it. Close behind are the Panam burger, the beef and ale pie and the roast chicken, with one diner calling it the best roast they have had. The Sunday Roast pork with crackling, fish cakes with pineapple sauce, chili chicken bites, chips, brownie, cookie dough and the Panam trifle also earn praise. Reviewers describe friendly, attentive staff, a calm atmosphere without loud music, and seating in booths or by windows overlooking the marina. Several say allergies were taken seriously, and one family let a toddler explore the back area and see the zebras. The only reservation is cost, with one reviewer noting the meal was not cheap but satisfying. One group arrived without a booking on a busy Saturday and were seated in a booth, then played pool inside.

“We only came across this place due to no one else having space but I have to say this place was amazing. The staff were fantastic, your dont often get well dressed, attentive and personable staff these days due to QR ordering. I had the roast chicken and hands down it's the best roast I have ever had and I've had alot. We also ordered the burger and pie which were both enjoyed.”

“We had a little stroll down the docks and wanted to try somewhere we hadn't been before in the city and we were not disappointed with Panam. The service was warm and friendly, the food was fresh, tasty and amazing overall. We had such a great time looking out the window enjoying the nice, calm atmosphere in the restaurant, which is really hard to find in a busy city like Liverpool. We will deffo be returning to try some other meals on the menu and for drinks, thank you so much for making our visit so lovely !”

“Panam is an absolute gem. From the moment the food arrived, it was clear that this place takes pride in what it serves. Portions were generous, ingredients tasted fresh, and everything came out piping hot. It’s the kind of food that makes you slow down just to savour every bite.”
