About Buco Turkish Street Food
Buco Turkish Street Food is a kebab shop in Liverpool, serving Turkish street food from a food truck on Hartley Dock at Albert Dock, near the Tate Gallery. The menu centres on doner, including a doner wrap ordered with salad, garlic sauce and spice, alongside the Mixed Grill Wrap. For bigger tables, the Meal for 4 comes as a platter with fresh bread, grilled vegetables, sauces and a mixture of meats, which suits groups sharing one order. Turkish tea is offered after the meal, which gives the visit a set finish. The truck is open daily, with hot and cold drinks alongside the food. Opening hours may be reduced in bad weather.

Customer Review Summary
Doner is the draw most reviewers name, whether as a doner wrap ordered with salad, garlic sauce and spice, which one diner called spectacular, or as a chicken donar. Close behind are the Mixed Grill Wrap and the Lamb Shish Wrap, both called delicious. Others mention a platter and a meal for four with fresh bread, grilled vegetables, sauces and a mixture of meats. Reviewers repeatedly describe the food as fresh and the service as friendly, and one notes generous portions. Another says a staff member helped their nine year old daughter choose her meal. One reviewer mentions music in the background, and another notes picnic tables nearby, though with seagulls. The one critical account describes a chicken doner plate with barely any chicken, undercooked fries, and a plain folded wrap soaked in oil where bread was advertised. That reviewer also says the staff looked new and untrained and that customers around them were frustrated. Another reviewer was given a free taste of everything on the menu, and one received Turkish tea after the meal.

“On my trip to Liverpool from Birmingham, I thought I would visit the docks before the match. Read reviews regarding this establishment at 4.9 so thought why not. Enjoy some dinner outside in the sun. Well that turned into a disaster. I ordered a chicken donor plate for £12/13. It came with barely any chicken donor and undercooked fries. Also the plate was advertised with bread but what I received was a plain folded wrap soaked in oil? Staffed looked new and not trained, customers around were frustrated and things quickly changed when the boss arrived with his family. £13 for oily wrap and chips and hardly no meat at all isn’t great. I understand it was busy but at 4.9, quality should be expected to be much better.”
