About Baltic Fleet
Baltic Fleet is a 19th-century pub at 33A Wapping in Liverpool, set in a Grade II listed building near Albert Dock and the Baltic Triangle. The pub serves ales brewed in its own cellar. Four cask handles sit alongside a large selection of draft beers, with the locally brewed Oatimus Prime APA among the cask ales and Paulaner Münchner Hell on tap. Inside, little rooms with low ceilings hold open fires, a mahogany bar and memorabilia from the pub's own history. Seating spreads across upstairs and downstairs, and board games are kept upstairs. A large screen behind the bar shows sport. The pub is open daily, and dogs are welcome, so regulars can bring them along.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often come for the beer selection, with four cask handles and plenty of draft options. One names the Paulaner Münchner Hell, poured well, and another the locally brewed Oatimus Prime APA. Close behind is the building itself, described as a proper old-school pub with low ceilings, little rooms, warm fireplaces and a cosy feel. Upstairs there are board games, quiet seating with views of the docks, and memorabilia from the pub's history. Several mention the relaxed, busy-but-not-overcrowded atmosphere, and one describes singing, dancing and a lad playing piano while the room sang along. Its spot just outside the usual tourist areas, handy between the docks and the Baltic Triangle, also comes up. The main complaints are small. One reviewer says some staff need to work on their customer facing skills, and a smoker notes there is no rain cover outside since alterations, wishing for a few large umbrellas. One reviewer, who only had drinks, mentions typical city prices and clean toilets, and another says the food looked good coming out of the kitchen.

“Reasonable. Good choice of beers. New outdoor (covered) area, dock road seating. Busy. Typical city prices. Toilets clean and usable. Handy stop off en route to Baltic triangle if heading that way or town if going the other way or to the docks. Can't comment on the food as we didn't eat.”

“I love this pub but if you smoke there is no rain cover provided for you which is a bit mean. We used to have some cover until they made alterations. A few large umbrellas would be appreciated.”

“From the outside you could mistake this for a crusty old man's pub. Don't let this fool you. What an atmosphere! There was singing, dancing, a lad got on the piano and stayed playing some bangers with everyone singing along. Great range of craft beers and gin too!”

“It was the first drink of our visit to Liverpool and close to our hotel. A nice pub with a good range of beers. I had Guinness which was good. I'm sure it's a busy pub too on a night.”

“Close to the Albert docks and was a good spot to stop after walking around Liverpool all afternoon. Cosy pub but with plenty of seating with upstairs and downstairs seating probably seating outside for the summer. It has warm fire places and board games. Found a quiet spot upstairs with views of the docks and memorabilia from its own history.”
