  “This restaurant was highly recommended by friends in Leeds, and the food did not disappoint. The parmesan was huge, tasty, and it came with perfectly cooked fries and well seasoned salad. A special mention though to the most attentive waitresses I can recall. They were all kind, happy, efficient and they were constantly checking if any of the guests needed anything. Absolutely brilliant.”

  “We had a wonderful experience at Manjaros. The food was absolutely delicious, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. The portions were generous, and everything was fresh and cooked perfectly. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere was great, and we will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended to anyone looking for tasty food and excellent service!”

  “The restaurant ambiance was good and staff was courteous the only thing the food taste was not the same as we always tried at Ilford branch. As we recently moved to North and was craving manjaros and drove nearly 1.5 hrs to leeds but bit disappointed.”

  “Malavika was so helpful she organised the table for a graduation dinner. Service was fast and delicious we had the carribean creamy chicken pasta and the waka waka chicken. Staff very attentive and great value will be back Thank u 💓”

  “We have visited this restaurant several times before without any issues, which made this experience incredibly disappointing. As soon as we arrived, the manager told us we couldn’t sit in one of the booths because we had our one-year-old with us, claiming a high chair wouldn’t fit. However, another family was already seated in a booth with a toddler in a high chair. When we mentioned that we had sat in the booths on previous visits without any problems, he insisted that we should never have been allowed to do so. Rather than argue, we agreed to move to the table he wanted us to sit at. After we had ordered, the manager noticed we had brought food for our one-year-old. He told us this wasn’t allowed but said he would make an exception because the restaurant was quiet. We explained that our daughter has allergies and doesn’t eat from the menu, which is why we always bring her food. Instead of accepting our explanation, he repeatedly told us it wasn’t permitted and kept reminding us that, as the manager, he knew the rules. We thought the conversation had ended and were simply waiting for our food when the manager returned to our table and started discussing the same issue again. I explained that we were beginning to feel unwelcome because he kept bringing it up, but he continued regardless. At that point, my partner and I stood up to leave. The chef, who was in the kitchen, spoke to us and tried to diffuse the situation, encouraging us to stay and have our meal. Out of respect for the chef, we decided to remain. I had to ask the manager for an apology before he apologised, but it didn’t feel genuine. At the end of the meal, we were given a 20% discount. Unfortunately, by that point the experience had completely ruined our visit. Although the food may have been good, we couldn’t enjoy it because of how uncomfortable and unwelcome we had been made to feel. We ended up leaving shortly after eating because the atmosphere had been completely overshadowed by the manager’s attitude. It’s a real shame because we’ve always enjoyed coming here in the past. However, the manager’s lack of professionalism, empathy and customer service has completely changed our opinion of the restaurant. We won’t be returning.”

  “I visited Manjaros Leeds specifically for your Chicken Parmesan, traveling from quite a distance with high expectations. Having known the original Kilimanjaro in Middlesbrough, I expected the same level of quality and authenticity. ​Unfortunately, I was deeply disappointed. What I was served felt more like a basic Wiener Schnitzel than a proper Chicken Parmesan. The preparation and execution lacked the specific characteristics that make this dish iconic. For a restaurant that carries this legacy, the experience was a letdown. I hope you take this feedback into account to improve the consistency and quality of your signature dishes.”

  “I visited Manjaros with high expectations but the experience was disappointing. The chicken goujon starter tasted frozen and lacked freshness and flavour. The pasta was excessively oily which affected both the texture and the overall taste. Although the staff were pleasant and the atmosphere was good, the quality of the food did not meet the standard I expected. With more attention to freshness and preparation, the dining experience could be greatly improved.”
