Customer Review Summary

Diners most often single out the buffet at Aagrah Garforth, praising its breadth with over twenty starter options and around ten mains, and the overall quality of the food. Several highlight the garlic mushrooms and the chicken’s tenderness, while the onion bhaji, paneer, and samosas draw criticism for being dry or tasteless, with one reviewer noting the paneer was too solid to cut. The lamb dishes are described as chewy by some, and multiple diners report that the curries, including the buna, balti, masala, and karahi, all tasted identical. The atmosphere is frequently called lovely and spacious, with quick drink service and professional staff, though a few mention forgotten requests and a lack of the warm welcome they expected. One reviewer also reports a guest experiencing stomach issues during their meal.

As a family we had the buffet which was a nice change from our usual curry house. The food was good, not amazing, not bad just good. We requested additional things to the table as well as extra drinks and they were forgotten about, so we had to ask a second time. Staff wise again nothing stood out they didn’t go above and beyond but they also weren’t bad, every curry house I’ve been in before you’re made to feel very welcome. We didn’t really get that grasp from here. The atmosphere was very good and I can imagine it is a great place to eat but this was my first and last time dining here.

How this listing is sourced

Where the data comes from
Name, address, hours, contact details, amenities, ratings and review counts come from the business's publicly available profile data — not from the owner and not from paid submissions.
How it stays current
Listings are re-checked in batches against their public profile, and anything reported as wrong is corrected at the source rather than patched on the page.
How it is ranked
Placement is never sold. Every business on the page is ordered and compared using the same public signals, so an owner cannot pay to move up.
