Customer Review Summary

The Koobideh kebab draws the most consistent praise, described repeatedly as perfectly cooked, moist and juicy, with fluffy rice on the side. Close behind, diners point to the Soltani, the Barg kabab, and starters like the mirza ghasemi and the warm aubergine and tomato dip, with several finishing on baklava, Persian tea, or the ice cream and faloodeh. Portions are called generous and the platters shared among groups are noted as well priced. Staff are frequently described as warm, welcoming, and helpful with menu choices, and one diner recommended the "luxury selection" for two. Service isn't uniformly smooth, though: one reviewer waited an hour for food with drinks never offered and only received a complimentary drink after complaining, and another had chips missing from a takeaway order. One reviewer who returned multiple times noted the taste varied between visits, better on one occasion and less good on another. Most reviewers, including several solo diners, say they plan to return.

“This place was recommended to us by Iranian friends, and we really enjoyed it. The food was amazing. There's a good choice of kebabs, stews, and other specials. The staff are really friendly and helpful if you want advice on menu choices. We finished with baklava and Persian tea, which was a perfect end! Highly recommended.”

“Table for four. Ordered 3 Koobideh kabab and Barg kabab. The koobideh was perfectly cooked and delicious, moist and juicy, the rice was fluffy and properly cooked. The customer service was on point. And the wait time for food was less than twenty minutes. Very satisfied overall and will definitely be coming again when I come to Hull.”

“Had the most delicious solo meal here and enjoyed every second! The warm aubergine and tomatoe dip with a rich traditional lamb stew were just what I was looking for on a cold March night. Will definitely be back again. The service made you feel welcome and at home! I couldn't resist trying the Persian ice cream even though it was a week night! Thank you for a lovely meal and experince, see you soon! I need to try everything on the menue! Thank you 😋”
