  “Been a number of times now and keep going back, this is a small cafe that does not seat many but the food, price and atmosphere are all good. We normaly have the set menu at lunch and it can’t be beat on on price, the green and red Thai curry are delicious and the fried rice is authentic. I normaly have a side of papaya salad and wow this is so so tasty but rather hot.”

  “Been in to eat a few times and it’s great. Ordered a takeout as we had just come out the hospital and to celebrate our new born. My Thai parter was so looking to its and what a disappointment. £61 for this… We have had this fish dish before in the restaurant and it was never like this. Phad krao pao was in a watery soup for some reason and a few chunks of meat rather than meat minced Also, paid extra for a fried egg but was just given egg fried rice rather than the traditional boiled rice with a fried egg. Phoned to explain but never really got anywhere.”

  “We went on a Friday evening at around 5pm but it seemed like we were lucky to get a table as most of the tables were reserved. We ordered the set menu for 2 as it seemed like good value. All the dishes seemed very authentic and absolutely delicious. The starters were nice with a good variety and my favourite main was the chicken stir fry dish, although the massaman curry was a very close second as the curry sauce flavour was divine! I would say it is definitely one of the best restaurants in Hull and would return here again.”

  “If you’re in Hull and looking for genuinely good-quality Thai food with an authentic taste, your options can feel quite limited—but this place is definitely a standout. I’ve visited a couple of times now, and the consistency in food quality has been impressive on every visit. The flavours are very close to what you’d expect from real Thai cuisine—fresh, well-balanced, and full of depth. You can really tell that care goes into both the ingredients and the cooking. One small thing to note is that the portion sizes are on the lighter side, but honestly, the quality more than makes up for it. If you enjoy Thai food or are a fan of rich, flavourful curry-based Asian dishes, this restaurant is absolutely worth trying. For me, it’s easily one of the best places in Hull for Thai food, and I’d highly recommend”

  “Me and my girlfriend from Thailand visited here Tuesday 17/03/26 and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly. We ordered massaman with egg fried rice and prawn toast and my girlfriend ordered somtam and a soup. The food was as good as anything we've eaten in Thailand and the massaman was up there with the best massaman I've tried. The prawn toast was that good I ordered a second serving of it. I highly recommend and they have a lunch time special - £12 which includes a starter, main and drink and you choose from a set menu. If you like Thai food then me and my Thai gf highly recommend this place. We will be ordering a delivery tonight, just 2 days after we tried it for the first time. This must tell you how good the food is. Thanks for the delicious food and the great service. We will be back again before we return to Bangkok next month”

  “The food here is UNREAL its my 4th time here abd second today with my boyfriend. If you want actually authentic Thai food that tastes incredible tgus is the place! We have been to a few well known Thai chains that charge crazy money for out thw box tasting food wgere you just pay for a name. Tanyalak is extremely reasonable prices for the best Thai food ive personally ever had. Weve tried others in Hull Tanyalak is the best one! We frequently come on business to Hull, it will continue to be the highlight of our trips here! Highly recommend!! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️”

  “Such a nice little find here. We loved it here and the lunch deal was great value for £12 which included starter, main and a drink too. The food was excellent and very quick service too Props to the chefs who were singing causally as they cooked, it really added to the atmosphere :)”

  “We had the sharing platter A, green curry and vegetable friend rice. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Quality food for a great prices. They also do a massage and meal offer with a nearby massage place which I’d be keen to consider next time!”
