  “Popped in for a bite to eat for much, and a couple of drinks… was lovely. Cocktails were really good and food was nice too. We will definitely be back very soon! *update* We have just been in again for an evening meal and it was absolutely wonderful! Can’t recommend this place enough, the food was just spot on and the drinks were amazing too!! If you’ve not tried it I certainly recommend you do…. Will be back in soon”

  “We went to Swine and Soul to celebrate my partner’s birthday, and it was absolutely incredible. The staff were so attentive and made a huge effort for us to enjoy our time at the restaurant. From explaining the wine menu in-depth to talking us through each of the dishes and their ingredients, it was obvious that Swine and Soul take huge pride in the service they offer to restaurant-goers. We ordered the pork, the lamb, and various sides/appetisers and everything was outstanding. The ingredients were high quality, cooked expertly and the dishes themselves were very creative and enjoyable. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anybody seeking a nice dining experience in Hull. The venue is gorgeous, the staff are fantastic, and the food is something that will sit with us for a long time. To anybody going, you will be missing out if you don’t order the pork! It was out of this world. 10/10. They also brought out a complimentary drink to honour my partner’s birthday, which was an extra special touch!”

  “Lovely spot in the arcade. Very attentive service. We sat in the outdoor area, which provided blankets if cold. The food was superb - I had the shrimp po’boy which was full of flavour and well spiced and seasoned.”

  “from the moment we arrived we were welcomed in with open arms, great service throughout! The food was sensational. I have never tasted food so delicious. So much thought and consideration has gone into them menu and it shows through how well everything goes together. We can’t wait to come back and try more, definitely the new top spot in Hull!”

  “Absolutely astonishing how such superb food comes out of such a small kitchen! This is a local restaurant with international roots in Spain and the USA and everyone should visit and go down that culinary freeway for an evening! Chatted to chef for a while and found him a delightful and fun chap with many years experience to bring to the table, which he does. Lots to recommend here, the ribs come with a delicious mustard sauce and a terrific crispy macaroni bonbon and crab (see blurry crap photo, sorry). Amazing. Chicken terrific too, corn and potato sides are superb. Steak sounds great but can't speak from personal experience. Wine list (only the expensive end attached) was brilliant too, we tried the Albarino and that's a fine choice with some swine. Cocktails are great too and there seems to be lots of knowledge going on behind the bar as well as in the kitchen. Top shelf restaurant in Hull, try it out. I'll go again and again and I hope it'll stay here forever.”

  “Absolutely beautiful! So nice to have another top notch restaurant close by! Food & wine amazing and such a lovely quirky place! Mike, Brigge and all the staff looked after us all night and are so friendly and attentive. We went for the first time last Saturday and loved it that much we went again this Saturday!”

  “Absolutely fabulous place, happened to stumble upon it one weekend and decided it would be a fab place to go with my mum after a matinee at the theatre. And wow! Stunning food, couldn’t have asked for anything better. We had the new spring menu, the chef was lovely and the quality of food was out of this world. Small place, lovely staff and incredibly high quality food! Genuinely can’t wait to go back!”

  “5 stars all around for this place. We booked the chefs table for 4 of us. The service, food and drinks were all incredible. The way the chef had meticulously paired each drink with each dish, is a skill I’ve never known. Everything complimented each other, and he really knew what he was talking about. The passion this man has is unmatched. The lady serving our drinks was amazing too, she remembered our preferences and served everything with a smile! I would highly recommend this place, if you haven’t been yet you’re missing out! Thank you, all, for an amazing night, I think I’ll sleep for a week!!”
