  “We ordered two burgers at a total cost of nearly £30. Unfortunately, when we brought the order home, we discovered that one of the burgers was missing additional toppings/add-ons that we had specifically ordered and paid for. In short, it was not what we ordered. To make matters worse, the other burger contained a hair. This is completely unacceptable from a food hygiene and quality perspective. We are regular customers of both Dope Burger and Boss Burrito, and therefore we are familiar with the standard we have previously received from your establishments. On this occasion, however, both burgers were noticeably below the standard we have experienced previously. They were lacking in flavour and seasoning and, overall, were extremely disappointing. I contacted the establishment by telephone to make you aware of what had happened and, quite reasonably, hoped that the issue could be rectified. Unfortunately, rather than receiving a professional response, I was greeted with inappropriate and unprofessional street slang. This was completely unacceptable and made a disappointing situation worse. I want to be clear that this complaint is not simply about receiving an order that wasn't quite right. We received food that was incorrect, poorly prepared, lacking in quality, and in one case contained a hair. When I then attempted to raise the issue directly, the manner in which I was spoken to was equally disappointing. The standard on this occasion was not acceptable, and neither was the manner in which my complaint was handled.”

  “Been before and had great burgers from Doncaster. There is a decent lamount of choice, amd the milkshakes are awesome with loads of variety too. All burgers can be either chicken or beef too. Last time i visisted this Hull store it was ok bit busy so i put it down to that and being near by thought we could try it out as i had raved about dope burger to my son after the Doncaster visit. My son had his friend with him to after we had done some activites in Hull but unfortu ately it wasnt great again. The service was good the satff memeber we dealt with was helpfull and very friendly the table was dorty but there was some cleaner and blue roll available so we sorted this. The meat on the beef burgers was solid wnough and sauces added good flavoir but the buns were terrible i left half of mine and like joey i dont share food or waste it today i diid both. The chips are not to bad but the seasonkng was pretty overbearing and all three of us left quite alot. A bit less seasoning and i mean quite alot tbh and a better bun it would have been ok but it was far from the 1st vsit i had in Doncaster and i wouldnt be very likely to return wven with buy one get on free deals.”

  “It’s meant to be one of the best burger chains. I’m happy to try it and review it. I had the BBQ Brisket burger with everything on and it was pretty amazing. The brisket had way more depth than regular mince. I’d happily come back.”

  “Can’t fault this place at all, well worth the money! Completely spoilt for choice too as the menu is huge. The best takeaway for gluten free food as their whole menu can be done gf (chicken burger in the picture is the gf one). One of the few takeaways where the gf food is 10/10 ❤️”

  “I got a pulled pork cheese burger as meal. The burger was very nice, pickles were thick cut and nice, burger patty was good quality but could've done with more meat. The cheese was creamy and complimented the burger well, the pulled pork was just average. The price was alot for what I got £16.50 around for the burger, chips (which were crispy and had a nice chip spice on) and a can of diet coke. Might go again but only for a special occasion because of the price. I would recommend going atleast once as it was good to try. Service was fine took my order and gave me the food.”

  “Tried this after having an appointment in Hull which ran later than planned. This place isnt cheap for a burger but all I will say is its money well spent. The ingredients are top notch and guy behind the counter was excellent and informative. Even the brownie and blondie (which we took home) was excellent and melted in your mouth. Will 100% be back.”

  “Really outstanding food. If you want a proper great tasting burger, come here. You'll get your money's worth and a full stomach. It's situated in a busy little market, hence 3 stars for atmosphere, but that's not their fault.”

  “Firstly, the good stuff: the atmosphere was nice and very cool! The service was nice and friendly. The food was prepared quickly. Secondly the bad stuff: the price was way higher than in the pictures, they must have raised it (11£ or more per burger). I ordered the falafel burger, it was cold and the bun unevenly cut, not enough sauce on it and dry. Not yummy at all. The fries were very salty, but some might like that. Our order was not complete and missing the drink. All in all, it might be a good burger place for others but for me it was too expensive for the lack in quality.”

  “Avoid toilets unless you want to catch Ebola. Vile and actually unbelievable how disgusting they are. Really let the place down and I would question the kitchen hygiene after seeing this. The toilet lid itself was crawling and the sink there is no point in using as you will probably add more bacteria than take it away. However, I'm not going to knock the food as I am honest in reviews. The burger was really tasty and filling, you can understand why they have a good name. The jerk fries were warned to be spicy and sadly they were soggy and I have had spicier toast! The blue cheese slaw was good but it felt like a little overpriced for what it was. Overall. If you want a good burger but don't want Ebola or an infection I would get a takeaway!”
