Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often describe a very large pub split into distinct rooms: a small wood-panelled bar at the entrance, a room with artificial grass and garden furniture, pool tables, dart boards, board games and a small stage for open mic nights. Drinks draw steady praise, from cocktails to craft beers including several from Atom Brewery. Food gets attention too, notably a bottomless brunch where the chicken and chorizo pasta was prepared with separate equipment for a coeliac diner, and a fresh side salad. Staff are called friendly and quick, and one reviewer found app ordering worked well. The dissent is specific. One visitor found it extremely quiet on a World Cup Sunday, with a flat drink swapped for one that was only slightly better and beer that felt overpriced with no prices on the pumps. Another misses cask hand pulled ale. Reviewers also mention the dog friendly garden, and two remark on entering through a revolving door.

“We dropped into this pub on our way home. It was extremely quiet for a World Cup Sunday and little atmosphere. My partner ordered a drink and it was flat, so he asked for another one, which was better - just. Beer overpriced - put prices on the pumps, and very dull atmosphere - wont be back :(”

“Staying a couple of nights locally and thought I'd pop in. Wow, what an amazing pub! Seems to have everything and something for everyone. Busy, but quick to get served. Live music but also a separate saloon if you want something quieter. Seems historic with its wood panelling and so unusual to enter a pub through a revolving door! Says outside its under new management. Would be proud to have this as my local.”

“Me and a friend did the bottomless brunch here, it was £25pp and you got 90 minutes. The food was incredible! We both ordered the chicken and chorizo pasta, they were able to cater for my dietary needs as a Coeliac and ensure they used a separate workspace and equipment, which was such a bonus and i am very grateful as their menu is not gluten free. The atmosphere inside is good too, the music was up to date and they have pool tables and games if u want to try them out. The service for our bottomless was very fast, So with this and the food you definitely get your moneys worth! (compared to the many overpriced bottomless we both have tried) The cocktails are the main aspect however, you are allowed a range of beers and spirits along with Prosecco and regular drinks for your 90 minutes time. We thank all the staff and the chef who were there that night! We will definitely be back and highly recommend this if your looking for a bottomless brunch! (Book 24hrs in advance and the deposit is £5pp)”
