Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the friendly, welcoming staff, with the landlord and landlady and the bar team described as helpful and always smiling. Live music comes close behind, with several praising the live artists and a very popular Tuesday club. The large bar with its dart board and pool table also gets mentions, as does the big separate lounge for functions. One group booked the function room at short notice and found a lovely big room with plenty of tables and chairs. Several credit the new owners with bringing the pub back and keeping a friendly, family atmosphere, and a couple arrived apprehensive about the area before finding a clean, relaxed pub. Drinks are called affordable, and one reviewer lists John Smith's bitter among a wide choice of beers and lagers. The only complaint raised is that there are no cask conditioned real ales. One regular recalls staff helping to source a taxi home at the end of the night.

“Such a warm, welcoming pub that have kept the friendly/family atmosphere throughout the years and the different owners, Emma, Chloe and Lee have brought this pub back from the bottom and they should be celebrated for the shear hard work and love they’ve put back into our community. Get yourselves down here and make pubs what they used to be!!!!”

“Wow. Visited the Pint & Pot when we were in the local area last weekend, a warm welcome with a friendly smile and made to feel so at home by the team. The pub made us feel so relaxed we stayed for an extra drink Can't wait to return”

“I’ve had a few nights out in here for special occasions and social occasions, the staff are really friendly and helpful, they do card payments which is fantastic to prevent that pocket of change at the end of the night. The entertainment they provide is fantastic, I absolutely love watching a live artist performing and the pint and pot deliver a great welcoming environment. The staff have been great helping me source the dreaded end of the night taxi ensuring I get hime safely. Thanks all at the pint and pot and I look forward to many nights of entertainment in the future.”

“Visited this pub on Tuesday as they had Alfie Pearson on Tuesday aftrrnoon. First time in and a bit apprehensive to say the least. What a surprise I got, The landlord and landlady were lovely. The lady behind the bar was very professional and service was great. A very clean pub and the entertainment was as good as ever. Great afternoon. Will certainly return. A credit to the brewery who own the pub. Thank you all.”
