About BrewDog Hull
BrewDog Hull is a craft beer bar on Princes Dock St in Hull, run in partnership with Reds True BBQ. Thirty taps cover the beer, while the Reds True BBQ menu supplies the food, including the Reds feast served on a bin lid. Wings come in buffalo and Korean BBQ sauces, with the sauce on the side if you prefer. On Wednesday nights the first order is 10 wings and each order after that is 5. Slice and Social, a pizza franchise inside the bar, adds 16" pizzas to the food options. Retro consoles and air hockey tables give guests something to play, and window seats overlook the waterfront. The bar opens Wednesday to Sunday and closes on Mondays and Tuesdays. Guests can enter through the shopping centre or from outside.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often point to the craft beer range, naming Hazy Jane and a fruit cider, and several mention bar staff who offered small samples of lagers and craft beers before anyone chose. Close behind is the Reds True BBQ food, led by a huge bin lid feast, plus pit and mac 'n' cheese burgers and Wings Wednesday wings, which one diner found crispier with the sauce on the side. Pizzas from Slice and Social, including the chip spice and tipsy tomato, draw praise too, along with the waterfront windows, outdoor seating and air hockey. The recurring complaint is slow service. Reviewers describe a backed-up kitchen, food arriving long after ordering with no warning from a short-staffed team, overcooked food on Mother's Day and hard chips. One notes prices run higher than an average pub, and another says the lack of app ordering meant fewer drinks. Staff are called friendly and polite throughout, and a food mix-up caused by new staff was resolved quickly.

“Only bought drinks, someone else paid , so I am not sure about the prices! Nice and friendly staff. We only did the bowling, it was nice!”

“Very polite and friendly staff, Food was 54 mins after ordering on what appeared to be not a busy day. They were short staffed, but no warning that orders would take longer than half an hour. Burgers were nice but chips (which weren't their normal chips) were hard.”

“Had a really good visit to BrewDog and would definitely come back! The atmosphere is exactly what you want from a BrewDog venue — lively, relaxed and full of character, with a great choice of beers and a cool setting overlooking the waterfront. It’s true that prices are a little higher than your average pub, and I can understand why some people mention slow service during busy periods, but honestly the staff were friendly and doing their best in what was clearly a packed venue. Once everything arrived, the food and drinks were well worth the wait. The beer selection is excellent with loads of choice whether you’re into IPAs, stouts or just trying something different, and the outdoor seating area is a massive bonus when the weather’s decent. The whole place has a fun social vibe that makes it easy to settle in for the evening. If you’re expecting a quiet cheap pub then this probably isn’t your place, but if you want good craft beer, a buzzing atmosphere and somewhere a bit different in Hull, it’s definitely worth a visit!”

“Came here on Mothera day, the food was overcooked and the wait time was quite long. However the service from both Brandon and Ryan was nice, they were very welcoming which made us longer then we excpected. maybe i will come back, Ryan was very welcoming and patient with my dyslexic mum”

“It was about 18 months since we had gone for the Wings Wednesday night so thought it was a good time to try it again. Booked a table over the phone as had missed the 48 hr cutoff for booking online. Table ready for us on arrival. Probably around half the tables were occupied which at 7pm was quite busy. Our first order comes with 10 wings (we also ordered fries and flatbread as sides) and then subsequent orders are for 5 wings. My wife was unsure how spicy the buffalo sauce would be so asked for the sauce on the side. I tried the Korean BBQ with sauce on. From our little experiment the wings are much crispier without the sauce applied in the kitchen. The Korean BBQ sauce isn’t spicy at all so good if you can’t cope with the buffalo sauce - which is quite spicy. The staff were friendly and helpful. Service was slow - the staff apologised for the kitchen being backed up. Not something we would do every week but a night of 20 wings each was enjoyable. Beer not bad either! Hazy Jane and fruit cider.”
