Customer Review Summary

Breakfast draws the most comments, and opinions split. Some praise friendly staff who found nothing too much trouble, and one calls the food delicious. Others find it only "ok", with a small portion of beans, overcooked eggs, and a hot counter not replenished. Reviewers repeatedly report running out of basic staples. One was told fried eggs weren't possible, then a refund was disputed.

“Comment on breakfast …we were staying at the premier inn, we went for breakfast and my partner wanted fried eggs on toast, was told this wasn’t possible and we could only order exactly what was on the menu. Fried eggs weren’t available even though scramble egg were…and fried eggs were available on the full English etc….after eventually going to ask the chef, and being told that it wasn’t a problem …. I ordered hash brown with cheese, bacon, sausage, the sausage was very well done ( 2 small pieces ) , bacon was anaemic, hash browns were hard….the egg wasn’t runny and very well done…( like rubber ) it felt if the dish had been microwaved….worst breakfast I have ever had, absolutely fowl….so I took it back to the bar, to the manager who had served us the moment we walked in…she wasn’t there I gave it to a member of staff…the manager saw it and didn’t come over, to ask if I would like something else or apologise….i had to go over to her and ask her what was happening, she told me she had refunded me….( without telling me ) i didn’t think this possible without giving her the card, so I’m presuming the refund wasn’t done….terrible service, terrible breakfast. How I was treated was unbelievable, the food was over priced and over cooked ….all but the bacon, which needed over cooking. The manager was up for blaming everyone else…I felt even I was to blame for complaining….certainly felt unwelcome after the fact…no breakfast, no refund….never go back there again.”

“We’ve visited twice over the span of two years, and both times they were out of basic staples. Coming back two years later to the exact same issue is disappointing, inventory management needs work.”
