  “My girlfriend and I came here today for a Sunday lunch. We don’t know what to expect as we hadn’t been before. We were greeted and made welcome immediately by the lovely staff as they organised our table. The staff were keen to help and very friendly - proving a water bowl for our little dog Mylo - he also loved the pub. The food was incredible and we will definitely be back. I recommend the trio roast, generous portions and very high quality. My girlfriend had the veggie roast and loved it. Would highly recommend, thanks for having us !”

  “So I had dinner here with a friend to celebrate my 50th birthday. It's a shame I didn't take a picture of my food before I started eating (I guess I was engrossed in enjoying the meal) but, as you can probably tell, it was so freaking delicious that there was zilch left on my plate afterwards! This has to be one of the best dining experiences I have had so far. The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff are friendly and the prices seem ok. I'll definitely return!”

  “We had a lovely meal here made extra special by the charming Grace who was incredibly attentive to everthing we needed. The food was excellent and the covered area in the garden truly makes you feel like you are at home. Highly recommend the Bell and the staff were outstanding.”

  “Really lovely pub with friendly staff and great food. We enjoyed a delicious lunch in the garden. The AI reservation system worked well and we were welcomed warmly at the bar. Great decor and polite service. Didn’t wait long for the food which all came out within a reasonable time. Well presented and delicious.”

  “Fantastic, varied and 'not the norm,' menu-made it difficult to choose! Delicious food, well presented, all good including kids came out in great time, piping hot and devoured quickly! We are outside, but inside looked like it was fancy and comfortable. Outdoors, there was a covered yurt area, pergola covered area and plenty of picnic benches too. We ate at dinner time on a Saturday and it was not very busy. Would definitely come again!”

  “Popped in here after having a Google for places to eat after a trip to godstone farm. I was drawn in originally by the diverse menu and by I was not disappointed. Me and my partner tried more than we needed too and it was all delicious. The staff were welcoming and helpful, the blonde lady was an absolute delight and very down to earth. A man with an accent also an absolute delight and the food proved just as good as the service. Would highly recommend xx”

  “We ate here as a big family group — my wife, our three kids, my dad, and his wife — so a proper mixed table, and it couldn’t have worked better. From the moment we arrived the service was warm and friendly. They brought out activity packs for the kids straight away, which instantly set the tone and made the whole meal much more relaxed for everyone. I had the pork belly with scallops and it was genuinely excellent. The pork belly was perfectly cooked — crisp on the outside, rich and tender inside — and the scallops were spot on, sweet and properly seared. Confident, well-judged cooking without any unnecessary fuss. The vegetables and sides were thoughtful and well balanced rather than just filling space on the plate. I finished with a tiramisu and a macchiato, both of which were excellent — a really strong end to the meal. The location is also a big plus. It’s a lovely setting near Godstone Green, and the whole place feels welcoming and comfortable whether you’re eating with kids, older family members, or both. Really impressed all round — food, service, and atmosphere all working together. We’ll definitely be back.”

  “We went for Mother's Day as a last minute reservation and we had such a lovely experience. Service from Grace was great, what a credit she is to The Bells team. Food was amazing, hot and tasty and great value set menu for mother's day! Will definitely be back one day. Thank you☺️”

  “We’ve visited here twice recently. The first time was for a midweek lunch where the table service was a little slow. We had to wait longer than we’d have liked to order and pay the bill. We had lamb rump and pork belly, both were a decent portion size and very tasty. The pavlova and chocolate Bombe for dessert were very decadent! The second time, we visited mid afternoon on a Monday so it was a lot quieter. We ordered at the bar and the lady was very friendly and polite. Service was nice and prompt which was appreciated as we had a young baby with us who was quickly getting fussy! Once again, the food was very tasty. We opted for the lunch deal and had squid and pate for starters then fish and chips for main. The fish was a good size and the batter was crispy and light. We’ve been to their sister pub The Spring Tavern in Ewell for their Sunday roasts many times, so we look forward to coming to the Bell Inn in the future for one!”
