About Cafe Elm
Cafe Elm is a dog-friendly cafe in Gloucester, at 2 Elmbridge Rd, where dogs get their own treats and a "puppuccino" alongside their owners' orders. The food side of the menu runs from breakfast baps and a full English breakfast, which is served after 12, to a bacon and cheese toastie. Pancakes come in cookie and cream and Oreo versions. Coffee, lattes, cappuccino and shakes are served, with tea and tea cakes for those who prefer them. Tables and sofas sit in a room with plenty of natural light, and a corner with books and toys is set aside for toddlers. The room is also set up for children's spa parties and other private events such as baby showers. Gluten free options are available.

Customer Review Summary
Pancakes, especially the cookie and cream and orio versions, come up most, with kids singling them out at family visits and spa parties. Close behind are the breakfasts: a bacon and cheese toastie, breakfast baps and an English breakfast served after midday, described as well cooked and not greasy. Coffee, a cappuccino, shakes and tea cakes also earn praise. Reviewers repeatedly call the staff friendly, and several describe dogs getting special attention, including treats and a puppuccino. Families mention books and toys for toddlers, gluten free options, and children's spa parties where the room was set up in advance and staff answered questions beforehand. One reviewer held a baby shower and was allowed to decorate the space as they wished. No recurring complaints appear in the reviews. One parent plans to return for the Friday after school hotdog deal.

“My daughter had a spa this evening with a group of her friends. All of the children had an amazing time. Staff were lovely & very helpful. The room was set up ready for them I didn’t have to do anything. The staff answered all my questions in the lead up to the party. Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking to have a children’s party here.”

“My 10 year old daughter found this cafe searching for pancakes in Gloucester. Visited there yesterday- what a find 🤗 Food was beautiful, the pancakes did not disappoint having the cookie and cream option. I opted for a bacon and cheese toastie which was one of the nicest Iv had in a long time 😃 Very friendly staff, quick service. Quiet calm environment with cute entertainment for the kids to be entertained. I’m sure this will become a regular place for us especially with the Friday afternoon £3 after school hotdog deal. Thank you for your hospitality 🥰”
