Customer Review Summary
Breakfast draws the most praise, with one diner calling the full English the best in a long time and another finding the regular breakfast so generous that a small would have been enough. Close behind are the lunch plates: a Chicken Caesar Salad and a Prawn Marie Rose salad described as fresh and well put together, a cheese and bacon panini served with salad, and a juicy steak burger with Cajun fries. Smoothies are called delicious, and lattes arrive hot in tall glasses. Reviewers also mention friendly staff, a relaxed atmosphere and clean seating, and a few call the portions good value. The complaints are small but specific. One reviewer wanted silkier steamed milk in the latte, and another rated the coffee only ok, found the outside table uncleaned and the cheesecake dry. One pair who couldn't finish their meals were given takeaway boxes.

“I had a Steak burger with Cajun fries, it was delicious and a great price at just over £9. The Burger was juicy and really tasty, as were the fries, glad we found you.”

“Amazing place. And all you people that moan about things just be happy you can afford to go out and eat even if it wasn't up to your standards. All cafe n restaurants have bad days just like every one else but you dont see people going round putting other people down because they had a bad day . Or the owners of restaurant and cafe ranting about abusive stroppy customers. Because they dont . If you didnt enjoy it that day then give people a chance and try another day , one bad experience dose not mean it will happen again. Dont always rant by your first experience because the next could be better.”

“Very nice cafe in Gloucester High Street that offers a convenient and friendly place to grab a cup of coffee, some sandwiches, meals or something sweet. I have been there a couple of times now and both times had a positive experience. Staff are friendly and helpful and happy to answer any questions. Coffee is good, the sandwiches and food looks good too (I haven’t tried it yet) and their smoothies are really delicious.”
