Quick info
About Mini Grill Steakhouse
Mini Grill Steakhouse is a steak house in Glasgow at 244 Bath St, set in a stone-walled bar-restaurant with a bay window and stripped flooring. The menu centres on steak, with bavette and fillet cuts served with a red wine bone marrow jus. Starters include a trio of haggis, and haggis also appears in a Yorkshire pudding. On Sundays the kitchen serves a roast with a choice of roast beef, roast chicken or butternut squash wellington, plated with Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes and seasonal veg. Walk-ins are taken without a reservation, and guests can request the bay window table. A lunch deal is advertised on a sign outside rather than on the menu.

Customer Review Summary
The Sunday roast divides opinion. Two diners found the chicken tasty and the beef stacked and enjoyable, while a third found the beef chewy, the roast potatoes unconvincing, the macaroni cheese overcooked and the chicken portion small, with one piece mostly bone. That reviewer also wanted hotter plates. Another reports requesting the bay window and finding it unavailable on arrival, and a diner notes a lunch deal advertised on a sign outside but absent from the menu.

“One of the best steak dinners i have had in many years. Good value for money, especially considering you are in a city. Service was impeccable Will definitely come here next time I'm on a theatre trip. Definitely a few other items on the menu I want to try.”

“The food was amazing and the service very kind! The only problem is that outside there was a sign saying that you could eat lunch for significant less amount of money in a specific time of the day, but that wasn’t written on the menu anywhere, so we ended up spending a lot more than we originally planned.”

“Well, this was a welcome surprise!! Food - amazing. Great selection, from the trio of haggis starter, to the perfectly prepared and cooked steaks, with sides to die for. Service - well I’ve rarely had better. Friendly and knowledgeable staff who helped us all the way through and made sure we had the best possible experience. Overall this is one of the most enjoyable meals I’ve had in a good while. Thank you and I can guarantee I’ll be back!!”

“Walked in without a reservation and they had a table for me even busy. Such a warm and cosy feeling inside. The staff were really friendly and efficient. The food was divine, I had the venison and the chocolate desert. All was excellent. Would highly recommend.”
