About Hope & Vincent
Hope & Vincent is a sports bar at 140 St Vincent St in Glasgow, with TVs showing rugby and other sport and booths that each have their own screen. A wood fired pizza oven sits inside the pub, and the bar food runs to wings, burgers and wraps. The lunch menu offers starters and mains, including loaded nachos, and can be preordered. Two separate bars serve a wide selection of draught and fridge beers. Seating is plentiful, with areas for larger groups. Music plays loud, and the pub is walk-in.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often point to the beer, with the draft and tap selection praised and one calling it cheap, and the sports setup sits close behind. Diners mention rugby on the TVs, booths with individual screens, and a busy but welcoming Sunday crowd. One notes that two separate bars make getting served easy when it's busy. Food divides opinion sharply. The wings, nachos with dips and a halloumi and falafel wrap earn praise, but more reviewers fault the kitchen than defend it. Loaded nachos are called premade and a disgrace, the Korean fried chicken is described as over fried with very little chicken, and the fish and chips is rated below Wetherspoons. One reviewer notes the pizza oven goes unused. Another says the loud music makes conversation hard. One reviewer reports something hard in a frozen beef burger and was refunded.

“Nice and modern inide. Food average, better in wethersoons. Not a place you can hear your and talk to people. Loud music It's a sports bar really. Some people will like it but as you get older you want to talk and hear the person you've gone out with. Each to their own.”

“This was the Korean fried chicken. Which contained the smallest amount of chicken and had been over fried. The plate cost 8.50, never worth it in a million years. Definitely won't be back. If you are coming here, avoid food at all costs.”

“You ever bite into a burger and crack a tooth? That’s what this place is good for. Something solid in your frozen beef burger that was slopped together. And, even better, premade nachos for your “loaded nachos.” Every review states how mediocre the food is here — I’ll go further: it’s atrocious. And that’s my opinion after I was refunded. The beer is cheap though!”

“Hope & Vincent is a vibrant modern British bar right on the corner of Hope Street and St Vincent Street in Glasgow city centre, offering a lively and friendly atmosphere that works equally well for dates, casual drinks, or watching sports. The interior is spacious and stylish, blending traditional charm with contemporary design, and it's packed with entertainment options including multiple big screens, an eight‑foot projector, a pool table, board games, and even a jukebox, making it a real haven for sports fans and groups looking for a fun night out. On the food front, they serve classic British pub grub alongside wood fired pizzas, and the lunch deals are particularly good value, while the drinks menu impresses with a wide range of beers, cocktails, and whiskies. Overall, if you're after a lively, central spot in Glasgow to eat, drink, and catch a game, Hope & Vincent is definitely worth a visit.”

“Great bar for sports, large choice of beers and drinks. Good menu is perfect. Great platters and wings ideal for bar food. They've also got burgers, wraps and other stuff but honestly the wings are great as you can see from the photo. I did take others but they're lost somewhere on my gallery and will upload once I find them. Service was attentive and I especially love the booths with the individual screens as well.”
