Customer Review Summary
Pints draw most reviewers, especially Guinness, called among the best they have had and well priced, served in an enormous bar with lots of TVs for football. Arsenal fans describe it as their Glasgow home for games. Breakfast comes close behind, with a filling plate of eggs, bacon, sausage, beans and plenty of toast, plus a breakfast roll with square sausage. Several mention friendly staff and a warm welcome. The caveats are substantial. One reviewer reports faeces on the ladies floor that staff said they already knew about, and another removed a star over toilets needing a deep clean or refurb. One describes a bartender making offensive comments during karaoke nights, and another reports fights where staff took sides. One calls prices over inflated. Even so, a stag party recalls the square sausage briefly doubling as a red card.

“Visited yesterday around 2ish bar was quite empty but bar staff very slow, not very welcoming. My friend went to the toilet and to her utter astonishment their was a feces on the floor in the ladies bathroom she reported this to the bar staff who said they knew about it. She returned to our table and then I went to bathroom still there with no attempt to clean, needless to say won't be back.”

“Absolutely horrible, miserable and disrespectful. On two of the few occasions I have been here, there have been fights and scuffles where the staff take sides and don't deal with the situation properly. I've seen the bouncers been told off for trying to handle a situation correctly. I've seen what I would assume was a regular quite literally smell from soiling himself and continued to be in the building for at least 30 more minutes. I feel bad for the younger barstaff as they've always been kind, but this place deserves a one star review for how bad the managers are alone.”

“Was on a stag do recently, and was recommended this spot for a breakfast roll washed down with a pint or 3. The square sausage was delicious, and briefly used as a red card. Warm welcome.”

“Been in here a few times now and wouldn’t look past it for a pint with good atmosphere and the football on. Been served more often than not by a woman called Bernie. I’m not usually one to leave reviews but she’s gave me consistently stellar service and went out her way to do so even when the place has been rammed. That’s the reason I’ll keep coming back - would recommend to anyone looking for a non pretentious pint in the centre of town.”
