About Kebabish Grill

Kebabish Grill is a Pakistani restaurant in Glasgow, at 323-325 Victoria Rd, cooking Punjabi food in two directions. Traditional curries sit on the menu next to reworked dishes and charcoal grills. The menu is Pakistani and desi, and the mixed grill is the natural order for anyone coming for the charcoal side. Chicken tikka runs through several dishes, including the chicken tikka biryani. The naan is made fresh, popadoms come with sauces, and pilau rice and curry sauce are served alongside the mains. Busy weekends usually bring a wait for a table and for food.

Customer Review Summary

Reviewers most often single out the mixed grill and the service. Several call the mixed grill excellent, with soft, freshly made naan and dishes served piping hot, while others praise the authentic taste and generous portions. Staff draw repeated warmth, with reviewers describing servers as friendly, attentive and welcoming, and a few crediting individual servers for checking in at the right times. Close behind, the complaints are specific. One reviewer found the mixed grill pre-made, chewy and low on flavour, and the chicken tikka biryani below average, with a noticeable piece of fat on the chicken. Another said the chicken achari had no achari flavour and seemed to be pre-prepared chicken tikka. A weekend diner describes a long wait for orders and food, poor popadom sauces, a hard, jelly-like mango, and high prices. One reviewer found the staff unwelcoming and never checked on the table, though the food was good and the place clean. Even so, one diner who left unimpressed still liked the curry sauce and pilau rice.

“We had another fantastic meal at Kebbabish Grill and once again it didn’t disappoint. The food was fresh, full of flavour, and cooked to perfection. The mixed grill was excellent, the naan was soft and freshly made, and every dish was served piping hot. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The service was quick despite the restaurant being busy, and it’s easy to see why so many people keep coming back. If you’re looking for authentic Pakistani food with generous portions, great value, and consistently high quality, I would highly recommend Kebbabish Grill. We’ll definitely be returning again soon!”

“Went to grab some dinner here and the food was great and everything was clean and well kept, but however non of the staff seemed to be happy or welcoming to anyone who came to the restaurant, the place wasn’t even that busy for me to think that maybe they felt overwhelmed. Once we got our food not once did any of the staff come by to ask if the food was ok or if we needed anything else (which we didn’t, but it’s nice to just ask) but whatever we still enjoyed our time there”

“Absolutely fantastic! Food is always authentic and exquisite! Quasim and Prabjot gave us extra special service today, but all staff are lovely! I would highly recommend this restaurant. Definitely the best desi food in Glasgow!”

“The place is beautiful, very busy inside on weekend, long wait times though so beware haha, food also takes long time to come out which could be what causes the long wait times too haha, decor is beautiful, staff is friendly, however took very long time to take order, food was all good apart from the popadom sauces, very poor compared to other indian restuarants, and the mango is horrible hard jelly like texture not nice at all, food is very expensive as well.”
