Customer Review Summary
Most reviewers come for celebrations. Birthdays, a wedding reception and a family party of 22 are all described as handled smoothly by friendly, accommodating staff. The food is called delicious and full of flavour, with steaks cooked to perfection singled out, and several highly recommend it for special events. The interior is described as stunning, though one family found it cold and a bit too open, and their party of 13 had only one server in a nearly empty room. The sharpest criticism comes from one table that found the caprese tomatoes over-ripe with mushy mozzarella, the veal overcooked and chewy, the truffle fries cooked until they could not be cut with a fork, and the pesto spaghetti essentially a bowl of oil. The calamari and garlic bread were fine. That table also struggled to find staff for an extra coke and then for the bill. Another diner calls the food average Italian, nothing special.

“Eaten hear a few times as it is handy for where we live. The ambience is quite cosy and they have outside space but its near the road. The food is very average Italian cuisine nothing special which is a shame when there is so much that is great about Italian food.”

“We came for a special family birthday, there were 22 of us and we were quite loud! The staff were exceptional, but a special shout out to our young waitress - Megan, who was absolutely brilliant and ensured we had a seamless experience! Good food, lovely atmosphere and fab staff……..highly recommend.”

“We had my daughter’s birthday dinner here last night, and everything was absolutely perfect. The food was delicious, and every dish was full of flavour. The staff were so lovely and welcoming, especially Ellie and the other girls, who went above and beyond to make our evening special. Nothing was too much trouble, and they catered to all our requests with a smile.”
