About Celino's Partick
On Dumbarton Rd in Glasgow, Celino's Partick is an Italian restaurant with a delicatessen counter inside the dining room, selling cakes and small takeaway items alongside the sit-in trattoria. The menu runs to about 100 dishes across breakfast, lunch and dinner, with pizza and pasta beside Mozzarella Fritti and Celino's Classic MACARONI CHEESE. Breakfast and brunch specials include eggs Benedict, so the kitchen works from morning through the evening. A cocktail and wine bar covers the drinks. Booths line the sides of the room, and 2-seater tables sit in the middle of the aisle.

Customer Review Summary
Pizza leads the praise at this trattoria, described as authentic and full of flavour, with fresh pasta close behind and mozzarella bites singled out for their cheese pull. Brunch earns its own fans, with French toast with bacon and eggs Benedict both called delicious. Reviewers also mention a fish risotto that was tasty though a little salty, and a lasagna that tasted nice but was presented like leftovers. Staff are repeatedly called friendly and attentive, and a deli counter with takeaway items and cakes gets mentioned by several. One reviewer describes two-seater tables squeezed into the aisle, like an airplane seat with people bumping past, and says staff take the order, deliver the food and then disappear. The same reviewer finds the cocktails overpriced for the quality. Another reports a dirty outdoor table and careless cleaning, and a birthday party was reminded to wrap up before the cake was cut. At brunch, one reviewer was steered by serving staff toward the Easter cake, which was delicious.

“From the smell in the deli when you walk in to the exquisite food and drinks on offer in the trattoria. A delightful place to go and watch the world go by in the window of the deli, or sit in the restaurant and dine out on authentic Italian classics! Cracking service and really good ambience! Just lovely!”

“Food was fantastic and the staff were great! It was a Saturday we visited so it was very busy, but there were no long waits, the food came out quickly and the staff were attentive. There is also a deli counter with food sold in the restaurant, small take away items and cakes. All of the food was great, would recommend a visit here!”

“We tried this place since they had outdoor seating available and we had our pup with us. I went in to get the menu and told them we will be about and the staff said he’ll be soon. The table was really dirty and after like 10/15minutes he came to take the order. Another staff came to “clean” but it was careless cleaning. The food was mid, lasagna tasted nice but the presentation looked like left over food. Overall, I wish they treat all the customers equal, have someone look over outdoor seating as well.It was disappointing and not worth the price at all.”

“Really enjoyed our visit. The pizza was very delicious, authentic and full of flavour. Special thanks to our waiter Lambo, his service was excellent — very friendly, attentive and professional. We had a great experience and will definitely come back again.”
