About Coffee Corner

The menu at Coffee Corner runs wider than the usual coffee-shop list, with shawarma and nachos sitting beside an English Breakfast fry-up and a lunch deal that pairs a sandwich with a bowl of soup. This Glasgow coffee shop on Ardgay St also keeps filled rolls and wraps, cakes and a coffee menu alongside other drinks. Orders are taken at the table, and there is no booking system, so customers simply walk in. Seating is set out indoors and outside for anyone who prefers to eat in the open air, and dogs are welcome at the tables. A step-free entrance opens the room to visitors with mobility needs, while high chairs make room for families with young children. The doors open daily through the daytime, and takeaway and delivery cover orders meant to be eaten off site.

Customer Review Summary

Coffee is the draw reviewers return to most, described as delicious, strong and smooth, and paired with what several call a great selection of cakes and drinks. Close behind is the lunch food, with the bacon and egg rolls drawing the loudest praise for fresh, buttered bread and perfectly cooked eggs, while others single out the salt and chilli chicken wrap, the steak and onion wrap, and the sandwich with a bowl of soup meal deal, which one describes as good value with the quality to match. The toffee cake and the hot chocolate each get a mention. Service splits: most call the staff lovely, attentive and welcoming, taking orders quickly, though one reviewer found them not very friendly, another noted service slower than usual on that visit, and a one star account calls the food terrible and the prices expensive alongside a complaint about an unfriendly staff member. One describes bringing a child in as a treat for passing exams and being made to feel at home in the busy wee room.

Good wee place for lunch in the Sandyhills area, food choice is good and coffee menu is good too, staff are lovely and attentive and take your orders fast and efficient. Food itself is really good, and they have meal options for lunch which is handy and there is never a long wait for your food to be ready

How this listing is sourced

Where the data comes from
Name, address, hours, contact details, amenities, ratings and review counts come from the business's publicly available profile data — not from the owner and not from paid submissions.
How it stays current
Listings are re-checked in batches against their public profile, and anything reported as wrong is corrected at the source rather than patched on the page.
How it is ranked
Placement is never sold. Every business on the page is ordered and compared using the same public signals, so an owner cannot pay to move up.
