Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the friendly service, with several describing staff as kind, welcoming and quick, and one saying a simple coffee stop became memorable. Ordering through the app or at the counter comes up repeatedly as easy. Food gets close attention: the big breakfast, a waffle with bacon, maple and turkey rasher pancakes, and a huge jacket potato, with the cappuccino and a very large latte also praised. Several mention that the food is halal, and the free Wi-Fi and seating across two floors, plus outdoor seating, appeal to those staying a while. The caveats are specific. One reviewer says coffee arrives well before the food and is cold by the time the pancakes come, and finds prices a bit high for what is served. Another describes a staff member who was curt about the menu syrups, then binned the pasta they had paid for and bought a supermarket meal deal instead. Even so, a reviewer who describes the cafe as a relaxing favourite for coffee closes by noting how cozy the upstairs interior is.

“Amazing service, great fresh food and my fav place for a coffee. So relaxing. Staff make a very welcoming atmosphere. The Italian gentleman who manages and young lady are an absolute asset to this business. God bless.”

“Had a great experience at iCafe! The staff, especially Marco, Alex, and Marwa, were so kind, friendly, and welcoming. Marco was especially funny and made our visit even more enjoyable. The team also went out of their way to accommodate us. The food was absolutely delicious, full of flavour, reasonably priced, and all halal. We also loved the relaxing outdoor seating. Highly recommend - we’ll definitely be back!”

“Don’t know what was up with the guy w the long hair if he’d had a bad day or what but his face was absolutely tripping him n his attitude was stinking. Went to pick up a menu to look at the coffee syrups he starts banging on about the kitchens closed as if I wanted ur food I already just paid 6 quid for ur minging pasta. So then I asked him what syrups they had as I couldn’t see as I didn’t have my glasses on (hence why I picked up a bloody menu) n he just stared at me n pointed at them. Anyways chucked the pasta in the bin and got a Sainsbury’s meal deal instead. And his coffee was not good either.”

“The food and coffee was fantastic. The maple and turkey rasher pancakes were good. The pancakes were just right and they give you a small jug of maple syrup, which is more than enough for you to choose how much you want. Coffee was nice and smooth. Just beware that they will give you your coffee long before your food and it will be cold before the dish arrives. Also the prices are bit more on the expensive side considering what you're getting, but since it's a great hangout or study spot I'll give it a pass there.”
