  “Superb breakfast/brunch from Sprout Kitchen Garden. All 3 dishes were of such a high quality but the Scrambled eggs on Sourdough toast was definitely the highlight. The prices are great for the quality of food you are getting. Staff were great and very friendly. Recommend booking if you can, especially at a weekend. We didn’t and managed to get a walk in table but it was very busy.”

  “Only just discovered this restaurant and am tentative about publicly praising it as I may not get in next time. It was pretty full when we went and, apparently, is like that each and every day. I can see why. The food was different from the norm, beautifully presented and the service was excellent, so friendly, engaging and helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch.”

  “We have been coming here on and off for a few years. It's been great to see the menu and restaurants evolve into a real local treasure. Food is always fantastic and the atmosphere is great, it's almost impossible to leave without buying one of their amazing cakes. Recent summer drinks specials with the iced banana bread latte is new and refreshing. The sweet chillie sausage brioche is incredible and makes any breakfast muffin feel a letdown.”

  “This has become my new favourite place for breakfast/brunch. I’ve visited 3 or 4 times now and the food is always exceptional. The staff are also always very friendly and welcoming despite being so busy! Highly recommend, great value for money”

  “I’ve been to Sprout kitchen twice and the service and food were amazing on both occasions. Everyone was very polite and welcoming, and Becky in particular was extremely professional and helpful. We were lucky enough to find a seat without prior booking but it seemed busy so book in advance if you can!”

  “I would go as far as saying this is a hidden gem to be visited! Now this is a mostly positive review but there is a few points which could be improved on. Firstly the positives! We ordered Eggs Benedict with bacon added on, and the Pulled Pork Sandwich. Both food options were faultless. There was lots of flavour, the bread was clearly fresh, the quality of ingredients was excellent and overall the food really won it. The coffee and hot chocolate were also nice, however the coffee was only served mildly warm which brings me onto my point further down. There is plenty of parking and the cafe is well sign posted as you have to walk through the garden centre to get to the Cafe. As I’ve seen on other reviews, the service was ok…The cafe was full and very busy, so that most likely played a part in it. However after ordering it seemed to take a very long time to be served drinks. It was then a further wait for food which compared to other cafes was noticeable. This could be why the coffee wasn’t that warm. The service itself was standard, nothing really standing out. The location and the cafe itself was nice, and seemed well presented. It was very popular and as the cafe advises, it is well worth booking. Although there is progress which could be made, the food really stood out for me, and I’m sure when it’s less busy, a lot of the issues highlighted are less of a problem. Therefore giving it a rating of 5 stars.”

  “Came in for a drop in lunch for one. They found me a seat quickly even though the place was heaving. I was expecting a slight wait on service considering how busy it was- but everything arrived quickly and was absolutely delicious. I got the avo on the toast with salmon and it was perfect, big portion too. Credit to all the waitresses, the chefs and the barista- she was making coffees at an unbelievable rate! Definitely will be back!”

  “We visited for the first time this morning and were so impressed. Our booking request was acknowledged (needing room for a pram), service was friendly and professional, and the food was amazing! We will definitely be returning to try the lunch menu next time, however we can recommend the full English, Welsh rarebit and Nutella pancakes, we really can’t fault anything; 10/10!”
